Today, we have a featured celebrity I'll always remember for her role as Teela in the cult classic
. I was a big fan of the He-Man cartoon and the toys, and when the live-action version of my childhood hero was coming to the big screen - I was happier than a french fry at a ketchup convention. I honestly don't know where that came from.
Chelsea Field made quite an impression on me in that movie, I've always had a big crush on her; and I was happier to see her in the Bruce Willis action film,
. That's another movie I'm a big fan of.
So today we look at the life and career of Chelsea Field. I might be taking a quantum leap here, but I think you'll be surprised to learn the identity of her husband. Enjoy!

CLAIM TO FAME: Chelsea Field is an American actress best known for her roles in Masters of the Universe (1987), Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man (1991) and The Last Boy Scout (1991).
FAMILY LIFE: Field has been married to actor Scott Bakula since 2009. They have two sons together, Wil and Owen.
INFO: Attended and graduated from Crescenta Valley High School in La Crescenta, California.
Best known by the public (and by many sci-fi fans) for her role as Teela in the cult classic Masters of the Universe (1987).
Stepmother of Chelsy Bakula.
In 2004, Field starred as Sally Bowles in "Cabaret" at the Madrid Theatre in Canoga Park, California.
TRIVIA: Was a dancer on Solid Gold in 1983.
Appeared in TV commercials for United Airlines.
Her father, Wil Botfield, once bought a horse named 'Lady In Red' from William Shatner.
Auditioned for the role of Captain Kathryn Janeway on Star Trek: Voyager (1995), which went to Kate Mulgrew.
In NetForce (1999), she played the mean ex-wife of Alex Michaels, who was played by her future husband, Scott Bakula.
WHERE IS SHE NOW: Chelsea Field is still acting and can occassionally be seen in a recurring role on the CBS action-procedural series NCIS: New Orleans, which stars her husband, Scott Bakula.
