Here's the Scoop...

Brothers and professional dancers Maks Chmerkovskiy and Val Chmerkovskiy are going on tour in 2020.

Maks, 40, and Val, 33, shared plans Tuesday on Good Morning America for the Maks and Val Live 2020: Motion Pictures Tour dance tour featuring their respective wives and fellow Dancing with the Stars pros, Peta Murgatroyd and Jenna Johnson.

"We are bringing this incredible family on the road," Maks, who married Murgatroyd in 2017, said. "We're excited to announce that we're going on tour this summer, the four of us this time."

The Motion Pictures tour is inspired by classic films and other movies.

"This time, we're telling stories through films," Val, who married Johnson in April 2019, said. "It's a narrative that's original but is gonna use the backdrop of classic movies that we all love and grew up on. Not necessarily just dance films, but films that never had dance. Imagine if The Godfather had a dance scene, and putting that on stage."

The Motion Pictures tour begins June 11 in Greensboro, N.C., and ends Aug. 16 in Bethlehem, Pa. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday.

Maks shared a poster for the tour Tuesday on Instagram.

"Finally!!! The fam is going on tour and Pre-sale starts NOW!" he captioned the post.

Maks appeared as a pro in 17 seasons of Dancing with the Stars, and was last partnered with Vanessa Lachey in Season 25. Val, Murgatroyd and Johnson most recently appeared as pros in Season 28, which ended in November.

Be Well,
Steve

LOOSE LIPS:

Closeout Clear"I remember when I was a little girl in school and some of the kids would say 'why is your hair so crunchy and hard.' I would come home crying to my momma and she would tell me that I had beautiful hair, yet people teased me so it was hard to believe. ... As I got older the more I stopped letting others project their ignorance and confusion about my hair on to me. Just because someone else doesn't understand it, doesn't mean you have to own it."

Mandy Moore on her musical household: 'It's pretty dreamy'

Mandy Moore says it's "pretty dreamy" to be part of such a musical household.

The 35-year-old singer and actress discussed her husband, musician Taylor Goldsmith, and their singing cat Fig during Tuesday's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Moore released the new album Silver Landings last week, while Goldsmith is the frontman of the folk rock band Dawes.

Moore said she and Goldsmith often play music or sing around the house.

"It's pretty dreamy," she said. "He always is playing the piano or playing guitar."

Moore said she and Goldsmith changed their cat's name to Figaro on the advice of a pet psychic. She said their pet has started "singing" along with them since.

"Truly, any time I start singing or Taylor sings, especially when we harmonize -- he could be on the other side of the house, fast asleep -- and it's like, suddenly he's up on the piano with us. And he sings -- well, he meows," Moore said.

"It's pretty sweet," she added. "We have, like, a little vocal trio."

Silver Landings is Moore's first new album in over 10 years. She co-wrote the album with Goldsmith and music producer Mike Viola.

"I wrote the whole record with my husband, Taylor, and my best friend Mike, both of whom are in my band," Moore said. "We wrote the whole record together over the course of the last year, and here we are!"

Moore said she's excited to promote Silver Landings on her first tour in 13 years, despite concerns about coronavirus.

"I know, it's sort of precarious timing. Hopefully everything will unfold the way it's supposed to, because I miss performing," she said. "I miss being on stage. I miss the adrenaline of performing live and having a band behind me."

Moore performed "Save a Little for Yourself" on Ellen.

Moore plays Rebecca Pearson on This is Us, which is in its fourth season on NBC. She revisited her audition tape for the show in February after the characters opened a time capsule in the series.

'Lost in Space' renewed for a third and final season

Netflix renewed its sci-fi family drama Lost in Space for a third and final season on Monday.

"From the beginning, we've always viewed this particular story of The Robinsons as a trilogy," executive producer/show-runner Zack Estrin said in a press release.

"A three part epic family adventure with a clear beginning, middle and end. It's also worth noting that, with what these characters go through just trying to survive each episode -- if anyone deserves to catch their breath before their next mission -- it's Will, Penny, Judy, Maureen, John, Don West, Dr. Smith... and The Robot. And, of course, Debbie the Chicken."

The show stars Toby Stephens, Molly Parker, Maxwell Jenkins, Mina Sundwall, Taylor Russell, Ignacio Serricchio and Parker Posey. It follows a group of Earth people on their way to colonize a new planet.

Lost in Space 3 is expected to premiere in 2021.
