Here's the Scoop...

Here's the Scoop...The Crown has released a playful new teaser for Season 3.

Netflix shared a preview Friday featuring Olivia Colman as Queen Elizabeth II. Colman is taking over the role from Claire Foy, who portrayed the British monarch in Seasons 1 and 2.

The teaser shows Elizabeth (Colman) discussing a new portrait with her advisers. The queen gazes at a younger photograph of herself (Foy) and her new portrait.

"Everyone was delighted with the new profile, ma'am, which they feel to be an elegant reflection of her majesty's transition from young woman to..." one of Elizabeth's advisers says.

"Old bat?" Elizabeth suggests.

"Settled sovereign," the adviser says. "Just the tiniest changes."

"A great many changes," Elizabeth responds. "Nothing one can do about it. One just has to get on with it."

The new Season 3 cast also includes Tobias Menzies as Prince Philip, Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret and Gillian Anderson as Margaret Thatcher. The seasons beings in 1964 and will cover such events as the rise of the Beatles and England winning the 1966 World Cup.

The Crown Season 3 premieres Nov. 17 on Netflix.

Be Well,
Steve

Hilaria, Alec Baldwin expecting fifth child

Hilaria Baldwin revealed Wednesday she's pregnant with her fifth child with Alec Baldwin, months after recovering from a miscarriage.

The 35-year-old shared a video of her unborn baby's heartbeat in an Instagram post.

"It is still very early...but we have learned that there is a little person inside of me," she captioned the video. "The sound of this strong heart makes me so happy -- especially because of the loss we experienced in the spring. We want to share this news as we are excited and don't want to hide the pregnancy."

Hilaria Baldwin said the first months have been "tough" with nausea and exhaustion. She asked for privacy.

"My one request is that the media not send paparazzi to follow me or buy independent paparazzi photos, hence encouraging them. I want to remain peaceful during this very early time in my pregnancy and getting chased around by cameras is not in the doctor's orders," she wrote.

The Baldwins have had four children since their 2012 marriage, including 6-year-old Carmen, 4-year-old Rafael, 3-year-old Leonardo and 1-year-old Romeo. Alec Baldwin has a daughter, Ireland Baldwin, from his previous marriage to Kim Basinger.

In April, Hilaria Baldwin revealed she had a miscarriage one week after announcing her pregnancy.

"Thank you all for listening, for your support, and for sharing your own personal stories," she said at the time. "We are stronger together...I hope this conversation continues to grow and that we stick together through both the beautiful and challenging moments in life. Much love and appreciation to all of you."

LOOSE LIPS:

"Pretend. I mean, it's either that or cry myself to sleep. Who wants to do that? You wake up with puffy eyes the next day, it's a waste of tears."

Which singer is going to receive Billboard's Legend of Live award?

Kelly Clarkson reunites with original 'American Idol' judges

Kelly Clarkson had a friendly reunion with the original American Idol judges.

The 37-year-old singer hosted Simon Cowell, Paul Abdul and Randy Jackson during Wednesday's episode of her talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show.

Clarkson beat Justin Guarini to win the first season of American Idol in 2002, which featured Cowell, Abdul and Jackson as judges. The trio praised Clarkson as a "game changer" for the show.

"I actually genuinely do not believe we would be sitting here today if you had not entered the show," Cowell told Clarkson. "When you delivered that moment on that first live show and when you sang that winning song at the end..."

"It was a game changer," Abdul said.

Abdul, Cowell and Jackson served as judges for 9, 10 and 13 seasons, respectively. Cowell expressed his desire to make a show with Abdul and Jackson in the future.

"If I had one wish, it would be to make another show with us again," Cowell told Abdul and Jackson.

"Apart from the fact that we had so much fun, to credit you, Kelly, we wouldn't be here without you," he added. "Our legacy, genuinely, are the artists, starting with [Clarkson], who we discovered over a seven-year period. That's what I'm most proud of."

Clarkson released her debut studio album, Thankful, in 2003 following her American Idol win. She released her eighth album, Meaning of Life, in October 2017, and the single "Broken & Beautiful" for the UglyDolls soundtrack in March.

'Smallville' alum Tom Welling joins Arrowverse crossover

Smallville alum Tom Welling has joined the cast of the Arrowverse crossover.

Arrow co-creator Mark Guggenheim confirmed in a tweet Thursday that Welling will reprise Clark Kent, aka Superman, in the CW event Crisis on Infinite Earths.

"So excited. Tom is incredibly. Bringing back his Clark is something we always wanted to do for Crisis," Guggenheim wrote.

Crisis on Infinite Earths unites Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, DC's Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman. The crossover is rumored to feature multiple versions of Superman in different time periods.

Welling joins Tyler Hoechlin, who plays Superman on Supergirl, and Brandon Routh, who portrays Ray Palmer, aka The Atom, on Legends of Tomorrow, in Crisis on Infinite Earths. Routh played Superman in the 2006 film Superman Returns.

Smallville had a 10-season run on The WB/The CW from 2002 to 2011.

"For eight years, Arrow has stood on the shoulders of Smallville. Simply put, there would be no Arrow, and no Arrowverse, without it. So when we first started talking about Crisis on Infinite Earths, our first, second and third priorities were getting Tom to reprise his iconic role as Clark Kent," Guggenheim said in a statement. "To say that we're thrilled would be a Superman-sized understatement."

Crisis on Infinite Earths is a five-episode special TV event inspired by the DC Comics series of the same name. The first three episodes will air in December, with the final two to broadcast in January.
