THE DAILY GROANER - January 26, 2015

Good Morning Groanies,

Lately, Jack has been telling Stacy and me, "I can't do it!" Basically, whenever we ask Jack to do something, anything his immediate response is, "I can't do it!" Whether it's picking up his toys, sitting down for dinner, getting dressed, so on and so forth, Jack just can't do it.

So, Stacy and I talked with him and explained that he could, in fact, do all of those things that he claimed not to be able to do, and what he actually meant was that he didn't want to do those things. Jack said he understood and then went about his business.

I think it went over well enough, maybe a little too well. Now, our two-year-old sounds like a broken record spouting, "I don't want to," ad nauseam. I guess that's what we get for trying to educate to boy. Hey, he's not wrong!

Groaningly yours,
Steve
