THE DAILY GROANER - November 7, 2016
Good Morning Groanies,
Cubs Win! Cubs Win! Cubs Win! Holy Cow! Congratulations to the Chicago Cubs!
I am so happy! The Chicago Cubs have finally ended the drought of 108 years between championships. That Game 7 was so stressful to watch. I was losing my mind.
By the 4th inning I was so riddled with anxiety that I began pacing through my house while biting my fingernails. Stacy kept telling me to sit down because I was starting to make her nervous.
I did sit for a bit, but after that 8th inning I started pacing again.
Stacy said, "You weren't this nervous when our kids were born."
I replied, "Our kids were born only three years apart. This is 108 years between championships. That's something to be nervous about."
I love the Cubs! I love that they won the World Series! And I love my kids, you know, Jack and the other one.
Go Cubs Go!
