THE DAILY GROANER - Monday, July 16th 2012

Good Morning Groanies,

My friend Mike stopped by the other night to meet Jack. Mike has a few nieces and nephews so I assume he's used to kids. He was excited to meet Jack and I was excited for Mike to meet him and vice versa.

During the visit Mike asked me what being a dad/parent was really like. I believe he was thinking about the possibility of he and his wife having a little one of their own in the near future. And after I rambled on and on about the peaks and valleys of parenthood for a hefty chunk of the evening Mike thanked me for a great time and headed on home.

The next morning Stacy brought up the conversation that transpired during the aforementioned visit. She asked me if my goal was to completely terrify my buddy from ever considering partaking in the joys of fatherhood.

All I could think to say was, "Come on, Honey. Babies really do poop that much." Hey, I'm not wrong.

Groaningly yours,
Steve
