Greetings fellow Bizarros:Talk about your good day. Police in San Jose, CA are looking for pedestrians and motorists who grabbed bags of marijuana that spilled onto the road from a truck that crashed.
Police say the bystanders swooped in and grabbed most of the pot after the driver of the truck ran away from the accident.
When officers arrived, they found a few remaining bags of
marijuana and a loaded handgun inside the truck.
Police said they are also looking for the truck's driver, who was carrying the marijuana illegally. Neither the driver nor the people who took the marijuana have been identified.
This reminds me of another story I read recently where a man found a bag containing $150,000 in his yard. He turned it in to police because, well, if somebody lost $150,000 chances are he is going to come looking for it and he won't be in a good mood. But if police think citizens are going to voluntarily turn in marijuana they found on the side of the road, they've got another think coming.

If he makes it back home, he's a keeper.
Somehow, beating up a neighbor's kid doesn't seem at severe as tossing your kid into the drink from a cruise boat. The kid could have drowned, got chewed up by a motor sucking him in, or just died of shock when he hit the water. It takes a special kind of idiot to do either of those things, but the neighbor's kid stood a better chance of living than the other guy's 7 yr old. I'm thankful that both kids survived their fathers' stupidity. -Penny

They'll just grow up to be just like their fathers. It's a vicious and perpetual cycle. The best solution is forced sterilization, in my opinion.]
Personally I vote for the father who left his 10 year old son in the house being foreclosed on. He did at least leave the kid a note explaining it and admitting that the kid's mother wasn't really dead. What a guy! What a dad! -Gail
Lewis, it is true that a time0out would not have the same "impact," as you put it, as killing his pet. However, that is not the issue! I agree 100% that this is psychological child abuse, and it is unthinkable that any mother would be so cruel to her child! This is worse than if she'd spanked his bare butt with a leather belt! -Christopher
[
How about is she beat the hamster to death with a leather belt vs. a hammer?]
