Hello fans,

When I was a kid I loved to watch the NBC sitcom Night Court. First run, re-run, it didn't matter. Whenever or wherever, I was watching it. That show was so funny, it had an awesome theme song, and there were so many wonderfully written and acted characters. My favorite was the gentle giant Bull Shannon played by the uber-talented Richard Moll. Moll has always been one of those character actors that you never forget, not only for his height and voice, but for his great screen presence no matter how big or small his role happened to be.

Besides his defining role on Night Court, I remember him most for his incredible voice-work as Harvey Dent/Two-Face on Batman: The Animated Series. He's so menacing in the role and really made that such a layered character that Batman had to stop. He's really an underrated actor in my book! So let's get right to it! Enjoy finding out all about today's featured celebrity, Mr. Richard Moll!

Remember, I did NOT forget the rest of today's issue. So if you would like to see the rest of this issue which includes Moll's CREDITS, the answers to DEAD OR ALIVE?, and the list of WHO PASSED ON THIS WEEK, then please, please, please click the link right here: Where is Richard Moll?

BIRTH DATE: January 13, 1943 in Pasadena, California, USA

BIRTH NAME: Charles Richard Moll

CLAIM TO FAME: Richard Moll is an American actor and voice artist, best known for playing Aristotle Nostradamus "Bull" Shannon, the bailiff on the NBC sitcom Night Court (1984-1992).

FAMILY LIFE: Moll was previously married to Laura Class from 1988 to 1992, and to Susan Brown from 1993 to 2005; they have two children together.

INFO: The son of Violet Anita, a nurse, and Harry Findley Moll, a lawyer.

He was remarkably tall early in his life, reaching 6 ft (1.8 m) by age 12; he kept growing until about 6 ft 8 in (2.03 m).

He attended the University of California, Berkeley.

Was a member of Kappa Alpha Order fraternity.

Moll would go on to often portray hulking or imposing characters due to his height, and thanks to his deep voice he's also done extensive work as a voice actor, typically portraying villainous characters in animation and video games.

TRIVIA: Is an avid fly-fisherman.

In 1983, he shaved his head for the role of Hurok in the science fiction B movie Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn. The producers of the TV sitcom Night Court liked his look so much in his audition that they asked him to keep it for the series.

Moll also used the Bull persona, for Night Court, in commercials for Washington's Lottery.

Moll earned a Saturn Award nomination for playing the role of Big Ben in the 1986 horror film House.

In between filming seasons of Night Court (1984), he grew his hair back. Many would then mistake him for his co-star John Larroquette.

WHERE IS HE NOW: Richard Moll's latest project is a horror movie titled Whispers and Shadows, which is currently in post-production. No release date has been announced.
