'Spider-Man' star Tom Holland surprises Jimmy Kimmel's son

Tom Holland surprised Jimmy Kimmel's Spider-Man obsessed son, Billy, for his third birthday on Jimmy Kimmel Live Tuesday. Holland donned a Spider-Man outfit he wore in 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming and also spoke with Kimmel's 5-year-old daughter Jane.

The Spider-Man star also told Kimmel about the gift he received from fellow Marvel actor Ryan Reynolds on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Holland is practicing social distancing in London with his brother, Harry Holland, and two friends. The 23-year-old said on Tuesday he tries to stay productive, but is also enjoying his PlayStation, watching movies and drinking.

"I actually said this weekend that I was gonna stop drinking for a week. I was gonna have a week off and then literally Monday morning Ryan Reynolds sent me a case of gin," Holland said while displaying a bottle of Reynolds' gin brand Aviation.

"It says here on the box, 'Some friendly neighborhood spider gin, love Ryan,'" Holland said about the note that Reynolds penned.

Holland has also spent time working on a script with his brother, which he said was recently sent out to producers.

"We sent that out yesterday to the first bunch of producers which is actually more nerve-wracking than anything I've ever done in my career," he said.

"I'm worried they're going to actually find out that I'm really stupid and I can't spell anything," he continued.

'Scoob!' getting VOD release

Scoob!, an upcoming Scooby-Doo animated film, is skipping theaters and will be released digitally through video on demand services on May 15.

Scoob! was orginally going to be released into theaters on May 15 but the COVID-19 pandemic has shut down theaters around the world.

Warner Bros. did not move Scoob! to a new release date and is following other new films, such as Universal's Trolls World Tour, which also hit video on demand services early.

Scoob! can be rented for 48 hours for $19.99 and can also be purchased digitally for $24.99.

The film will present the origin story of Scooby-Doo, voiced by Frank Welker, and how he met his best friend Shaggy, voiced by Will Forte. The duo, along with Mystery Inc., will then try to stop the ghost dog Cerberus from being unleashed.

Tony Cervone directed Scoob! which also features Zac Efron as Fred, Gina Rodriguez as Velma and Amanda Seyfried as Daphne.

"While we're all eager to be able to once again show our films in theaters, we're navigating new, unprecedented times which call for creative thinking and adaptability in how we distribute our content," Warner Bros. chair and CEO Ann Sarnoff said in a statement.

"We know fans are eager to see Scoob! and we're delighted we can deliver this feel-good movie for families to enjoy while they're home together," she continued.

'Venom' sequel delayed until June 2021

Sony Pictures has announced that Venom 2, now titled Venom: Let There Be Carnage, has been delayed until June 25, 2021.

The sequel to 2018's Venom was originally set to hit theaters on Oct. 2, 2020. Tom Hardy is returning as the title character, along with Michelle Williams as Anne Weying.

Andy Serkis is directing the sequel after Ruben Fleischer helmed the first entry. Naomie Harris and Reid Scott also star.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife has been moved from July 10 to March 5, 2021 and Morbius, another Spider-Man spinoff film starring Jared Leto in the title role, has been moved from July 31 to March 19, 2021.

Which "Bond Girl" says Pierce Brosnan saved her from choking on the James Bond set?

Halle Berry says her Die Another Day co-star Pierce Brosnan once saved her from choking while on set of the James Bond movie.

The 53-year-old actress shared the story during Tuesday's episode of The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon when asked to recall an embarrassing moment in an action scene.

Brosnan played Bond in Die Another Day, released in 2002, while Berry played the Bond girl Jinx. Berry said she and Brosnan were filming a love scene when she choked on a fig.

"Not an action scene, but one time I was doing a scene with Pierce Brosnan in Die Another Day," the star said. "I was trying to be all sexy and trying to seduce him with a fig, and then I end up choking on it. He had to get up and, like, do the Heimlich. So not sexy."

"James Bond knows how to Heimlich. Like, he was there for me. He will always be one of my favorite people in the whole world," she added of Brosnan.

Berry performs her own fight scenes in the upcoming movie Bruised, which also marks her directorial debut. Berry plays Jackie Justice, a disgraced MMA fighter, and filmed with real-life UFC fighter Valentina Schevchenko.

"I broke some stuff on this one, and you know what? It's okay, I always get hurt," the actress said. "But realized that when you go hard, you're bound to get hurt. When you do your own stunts, you're bound to get hurt."

"In this movie, I was fighting the real UFC flyaway champion, Valentina Schevchenko, and you know what? She had to throw some real kicks, and I had to really take them, and that really broke some bones," she added.

Berry previously shared how she broke three ribs while performing her own stunts for John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum. John Wick star Keanu Reeves said in April 2019 that he will continue to make John Wick movies as long as there is a demand.
