Dicing a pint of cherry tomatoes and basil usually means juice everywhere. This cordless chopper's sharp blades turn both into even, mess-free pieces in one press, no cutting board or crime-scene counter required.

Kitchen Hack

Skip the fridge for tomatoes. Cold temperatures turn the flesh mealy and mute the flavor, so keep them on the counter out of direct sun instead.

Tear basil leaves by hand instead of cutting them with a knife. It bruises the leaves less and keeps the flavor brighter.
