Read about our staffHi Friends,

The other day I had some friends over for dinner. Because it is warmer I wanted to cook everything on the grill.

The menu was simple and downright All-American. Steaks, Corn on the Cob and Baked Potatoes.

The biggest hit that everyone raved about wasn't the overpriced steaks. It was the baked potato!

Here's the simple recipe I followed and quite honestly I don't know if I can ever make them any other way... they were scrumptious, every bit of it!

Happy Cooking,
Anisa

Are Baked Potatoes on The Grill Better? YES!

Today's Recipe

Yummy Grilled Baked Potatoes

Serves 4

Ingredients

4 (8-ounce) russet potatoes
1 tablespoon olive oil
Kosher salt

Directions

1Heat an outdoor grill for medium, direct heat (about 350°F).
2Coat 4 (8-ounce) russet potatoes with 1 tablespoon olive oil.
3Generously season the potatoes all over with kosher salt.
4Individually wrap each potato in aluminum foil and pierce the foil and potato with a fork. (This will help that smokey flavor penetrate the potatoes.)
5Place the potatoes on the grill.
6Cover and grill, turning the potatoes occasionally, until the potatoes are tender and can be easily pierced with a fork (About 45 minutes to 1 hour)
Serve with Grilled Chicken, Steak or on its own!
