Hi Friends,
We're in the heart of summer, which means it's time for all the foods that make this season so much fun for backyard barbecues, picnics in the park, beach days, tailgates, and lazy afternoons on the patio. Or, if you're like me on those extra hot days, enjoying the air conditioning with something cold in hand!
Today's recipe is a refreshing one. This
Watermelon Berry Slush is fruity, refreshing, and comes together with just four simple ingredients. It's the perfect little treat when you need to beat the heat.
And while you're enjoying all that fun in the sun, don't forget to layer on the sunscreen so you don't end up getting BBQ'd instead of the burgers!
Happy Cooking,

Anisa's Kitchen Tip:
For an even frostier slush, freeze your watermelon cubes for an hour or two before blending. If you like it a little sweeter, add a drizzle of honey or a splash of simple syrup.
Or create an 21 and over version mixing in a little vodka.
