Greetings!
Today I'm featuring thrifty tips that some of our readers submitted. These are tips and tricks they are currently using, and they are good!
Keep submitting your tips. I love reading them, I've implemented some of them into my daily life, and I love sharing them with our fellow thrifty readers. Let's get to it...
Let's get thrifty!

Bob from Mississippi: I only subscribe to one streaming service at a time. Once I sign up, I immediately cancel and use it until the month is up. If there are still a few shows or movies I want to watch, I'll go another month. If not, I move on to the next streaming service.
I love this idea Bob. I know for me personally I don't pay for cable and I currently am paying for 3 streaming services. Typically I'm tuned into just one of the services for a good 2 weeks due to binge watching a series or so. I'm going to implement this one ASAP, this will save me a few buck each month. Thanks, Bob!
Tina from San Diego: I save and reuse gift bags, tissue paper, and gift boxes. I will only buy these items after Christmas when they go on clearance if my stock is low. I don't throw any of these items out unless they are completely torn up, and I can't tape them back together.
I do this too, Tina! I never use the tags that attached to the gift bags in hopes the receiver is reusing the bag like I do.
Melinda from Dallas: I add water to the end of the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles just to get the last wash out.
YES, yes, and yes! There is still plenty of product in those bottles. You paid for it, get every little ounce out of it. I even will use scissors at the end of my toothpaste to get the last amount out. Hey...it all adds up!
Stacey from Arizona: I avoid using my dryer as often as I can. Once I realized that lint is basically my clothes breaking down from all that tumbling, it just didn't seem worth it. Now I just stick with a clothesline - it's more gentle on my clothes, and helps them last longer. Oh, and the saving from using less electricity and just using what we are blessed with...the sun!
I love this, Stacey. Growing up in the summer months my mom would dry our clothes on a clothesline in the backyard.
