Read about our staffGreetings!

Sunday night is one of the most powerful and overlooked times to save money, reduce stress, and make the entire week run smoother.

A simple 30 minute Sunday night reset can make makings easier, prevent last minute spending, and keep your home organized before the work
and school week begins.

Let get to some small habits that can make a world of difference.

Handy Hint: Start One Load of Laundry

Even just getting one load of laundry washed and folded on Sunday night can make a huge difference during the week. While you are prepping food, or watching TV just toss a load in the washer and take a few minutes to fold it before heading to bed.

It may not seem like much, but starting the week with even a small pile of clean clothes already taken care of is one less chore competing for your time during your busy week. That's one less load waiting to be washed.

Thrifty Tip: Quick Fridge Check

Take a few minute and look through your fridge before your week begins. toss anything that has expired, and move food that needs to be used soon to the front so you can easily see them.

Perfectly good food that gets pushed to the back easily gets forgotten about. Bringing it forward is your reminder you need to use it within the next few days.

This quick check not only will reduce food waste, but will help you plan a few meals around what you already have.

Thrifty Tip: Prep What You Can

Cut up a few veggies, pack some lunches, or even cook a meal or two in advance. If you have time prepping a full meal for Monday night can be a real lifesaver. After the first long day of the week, it's nice to know you already have dinner taken care of, it just needs to be reheated.

Thrifty Tip: 10 Minute Tidy

Take 10 minutes before you head to bed to do a quicky tidy up. Clear the kitchen counter, empty the dishwasher, straighten up the family room, or even just put stray shoes and bags away. Waking up Monday morning to a clean, organized space feels surprisingly motivating.

The goal here isn't about perfection, it's simply starting the week prepared instead of rushed. A short Sunday night routing can save money, prevent stress, and help the whole household start the week off on the right foot.
