Greetings!
Quick question for all you of. Are you washing your towels too often?
I read recently that most people wash their bath towels after 2-3 uses, but some experts say they can go much longer if they are dried properly. So now I'm curious...
How often do YOU wash your towels? Hit reply and let me know, I might share some of the most surprising answers in the future.

Handy Hint: Stop using fabric softener on your towels right now. It coats the fibers and actually makes them LESS absorbent over time. Towels are meant to absorb water, not repel water. If you want softness, dryers ball do the job without ruining the fabric.
Thrifty Tip: If your towels smell fine coming out of the dryer, but start smelling musty the second they get wet that's detergent buildup. It traps bacteria inside the fibers. Run them through one hot wash with 1 cup white vinegar (no detergent), then a second wash with 1/2 cup baking soda. You will be shocked at the results.
Thrifty Tip: Are your white towels turning gray? Skip bleach every time. Too much bleach will weaken the fibers over time. Instead, occasionally wash in hot water with baking soda and dry in the sunlight if possible. Sunlight naturally brightens whites.
