WH6 Daily Cleanser is hitting retail shelves nationwide! To celebrate, we're offering a full-size bottle for just $5 (regularly $29.99) - but only for the next 24 hours! (LEARN MORE)Handy Hint: Herbs + Olive Oil
Freeze herbs in olive oil. Chop fresh herbs like basil, parsley, or cilantro and place in an ice cube tray, cover with olive oil, and freeze. Pop a cube directly into sauces or soups. The flavor gets preserved and you are avoiding waste.
Thrifty Tip: How To Store Bread
Store your bread the smart way. Keep a loaf in a paper bag at room temperature for daily use, and slice and freeze extra bread in
freezer bags. Toast or defrost slices as needed. No more moldy ends, or wasted slices.
Thrifty Tip: Extend Life of Apples
Keep apples crisp longer by storing them separately from other fruits. Apples release ethylene gas as they ripen, which can speed up spoilage of nearby produce. Place them in a separate crisper drawer or in a perforated bag in the fridge to extend freshness, and prevent other fruits from going bad too quickly.
