Unstick a stubborn zipper with a pencil. Just rub the graphite tip along the teeth of the zipper. The graphite acts as a dry lubricant and helps the zipper to start gliding smoothly again. No more sprays or messy oils required.
Thrifty Tip: Make Candles Last Longer
I actually just learn this one just recently. You can make your candles last longer by this simple trick. Before lighting your new candle, place it in the freezer for a few hours. The colder wax melts more slowly, helping your candle burn longer and saving you from replacing it as quickly.
Thrifty Tip: Showerhead Trick
Keep your showerhead flowing strong. If your water pressure starts to drop, fill a plastic bag with white vinegar and secure it around the showerhead with a rubber band. Let is soak for an hour (or even overnight). Rinse and run the water. Mineral deposits dissolve, and pressure will improve without having to replace the showerhead itself.
