Greetings!
Halloween parties always bring out my playful side in the kitchen. I love dishes that are both fun and easy to make, especially when they look like something straight out of a spooky movie. These Mummy Dogs are one of my favorites to whip up. They’re cute, quick, and guaranteed to make everyone smile (before they take a big bite!).

Today's Recipe: Mummy Dogs
Ingredients:
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 10 hot dogs
- 2 slices American cheese, cut into thin strips (optional)
- Mustard or ketchup, for eyes
Recipe:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
2. Unroll the crescent dough and cut into long, thin strips.
3. If you’d like, place a strip of cheese along each hot dog.
4. Wrap the dough strips around the hot dogs, leaving small gaps near one end for the “face.”
5. Place on a baking sheet and bake 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
6. Once slightly cooled, use mustard or ketchup to dot on tiny “eyes.”

Extra Toppings: Quick Kitchen Tip
To make your dough easier to handle, keep it cold until right before you wrap the hot dogs. Chilled dough is less sticky and wraps neatly.
