Hello Foodie Friends

In this deep heat we could definitely use a great refreshing Summer chiller and today's WATERMELON BERRY SLUSHIES made with watermelon and strawberries seem to fit the bill perfectly... lots of ice and 2 perfectly plentiful Summertime fruits. I even included a bonus tropical recipe in Marzee's Corner today too. Yeah it's been that kind of hot-hot-hot here in the Midwest and I almost wouldn't even mind the occasional brain-freeze right now?

Some people shy away from buying a whole watermelon simply because you won't finish it but no worries just so simply freeze some for later. Cut the watermelon into cubes or small wedges (remove seeds if possible). Place pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in a single layer. Freeze until solid (about 2–4 hours). Transfer to a freezer-safe bag or container for storage (use within 2–3 months for best taste).

Enjoy!
