Hello Foodie Friends
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I just want to say how thankful I am for my readers I hope you've enjoyed receiving my recipes and ramblings all these 20+ years. Hard to believe how fast the time has flown since my little chickadee twins arrived and it makes me happy to see they enjoy cooking too ;)
I hope you have a fun-filled day spent with your own families and friends and maybe even a little football thrown in? I thought fitting to have today's recipe be for leftovers and there are so many but this popular comfort food is a real hit for extra turkey. Tetrazzini is a creamy pasta dish typically made with poultry (like turkey or chicken) or even seafood, mixed with a rich, cheesy sauce. The dish is baked with a breadcrumb or cheese topping until bubbly and golden. It's a popular comfort food in the United States,
Not just for leftovers though you can swap in cooked chicken any time of year too. When it comes to the leftovers by the way, just because you put them in the fridge does NOT mean they will last forever it is not a magical box. Please keep in mind some important food storage information below and know when it's time to LET IT GO, LET IT GO ;)
Enjoy!
