Timothy Olyphant returns as Raylan Givens in 'Justified: City Primeval' trailer

On Wednesday, FX released the first full-length trailer for Justified: City Primeval starring Timothy Olyphant as U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens.

Scheduled to premiere July 18, the show is set in Detroit and is the follow-up to the Kentucky procedural Justified, which aired 2010-15.

Both series are based on the works of crime novelist Elmore Leonard.

"Having left the hollers of Kentucky 15 years ago, Raylan Givens now lives in Miami, a walking anachronism balancing his life as a U.S. Marshal and part-time father of a 15-year-old girl. His hair is grayer, his hat is dirtier, and the road in front of him is suddenly a lot shorter than the road behind," a synopsis from the cable network said.

"A chance encounter on a desolate Florida highway sends him to Detroit. There he crosses paths with Clement Mansell, aka The Oklahoma Wildman, a violent, sociopathic desperado who's already slipped through the fingers of Detroit's finest once and aims to do so again."

The show co-stars Aunjanue Ellis, Boyd Holbrook, Marin Ireland and Norbert Leo Butz.

Wednesday's 2 1/2-minute preview shows Raylan meeting new work colleagues, facing dangerous foes and looking out for the teen daughter he is supposed to be road-tripping with back to Florida.

Ming-Na Wen gets star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Ming-Na Wen was presented with the 2,757th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Tuesday.

Tamlyn Tomita, Lauren Tom and Rosalind Chao -- Wen's co-stars in the 1993 film The Joy Luck Club -- were on hand to help her celebrate the occasion, along with her mother, Lin Chan Wen and husband, Eric Michael Zee.

"Ming-Na Wen has had quite an iconic career! As Mulan, she inspired women everywhere to embrace their inner warrior," said Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

"She has always been a supporter of and has always believed in lifting female artists especially women of color and we're excited that we're able to recognize her achievements on the Hollywood Walk of Fame."

Wen's credits also include As the World Turns, ER, Marvel's Agents of Shield, The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett and Gremlins: Secrets of Mogwai.

Al Pacino's girlfriend Noor Alfallah pregnant with his fourth child

Al Pacino's publicist has confirmed the 83-year-old, Oscar-winning actor is to be a father for the fourth time.

TMZ, The Hollywood Reporter and E! News reported Tuesday that Pacino's girlfriend, producer Noor Alfallah, is eight months pregnant with his child.

Alfallah, 29, previously dated rock legend Mick Jagger and billionaire Nicolas Berggruen. She and Pacino have been a couple since April 2022.

Pacino and his girlfriend Meital Dohan broke up in 2020.

He has three adult children: Julie Pacino, 33, with Jan Tarrant, and Anton Pacino, 22, and Olivia Pacino, 22, with Beverly D'Angelo.

Pacino's frequent co-star Robert DeNiro, 79, recently had a baby with his girlfriend Tiffany Chen.

Edward James Olmos says he recently battled throat cancer

Stand and Deliver, Battlestar Galactica and Mayans M.C. star Edward James Olmos has announced he recently battled throat cancer.

"This would be the first time publicly I'll be coming out and saying it, but I had throat cancer," the 76-year-old actor said on the Mando & Friends podcast.

"I just finished getting through it. Dec. 20 was my last radiation. The week before, I'd finished my chemo and months and months I was on radiation and chemo as it attacked my throat."

The star said he talked to five doctors before undergoing treatment and was warned his distinctive voice might sound different when it was over.

''We're shooting your vocal cords. We're shooting your throat. Where you eat, where you swallow, where you talk, breathe, everything goes through here,'" Olmos recalled being told. "A lot of my friends have passed because of this."

He lost 55 pounds because he couldn't eat during the ordeal, but is now swimming, rowing and lifting weights to get his strength back.

Mayans M.C. is in its fifth and final season.

Guns N' Roses, Lizzo, Elton John to perform at Glastonbury Festival

Guns N' Roses, Lizzo and Elton John have been booked to perform at next month's Glastonbury Festival in England.

"We've just unveiled the full Glastonbury 2023 line-up featuring over 3,000 performances across dozens of stages at this year's Festival (and there are still a few more stages to come)," the festival's website said Tuesday.

The sold-out event is to take place June 21-25.

Also set to take the stage are Arctic Monkeys, Lewis Capaldi, Rick Astley, Lil Nas X, Blondie, Cat Stevens, The Chicks, Lana Del Rey, Queens of the Stone Age and many others.

Al Roker returns to 'Today' after knee replacement surgery

TV weatherman Al Roker returned to the Today show Tuesday, three weeks after undergoing total knee replacement surgery.

"It's all good. It's good to see you guys," the 68-year-old star told the show's co-anchors Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb on his first day back in the New York studio where the show is taped.

"It's good to see you, folks," he added, gesturing toward the cameras.

Roker appeared via video on the May 15 episode of the program to give an update on his recovery from his second knee replacement surgery in two years.

"This one is a little more complicated because it was what they call a revision; it was a replacement of a replacement, so they had to take stuff out, put stuff in, so it was a bit of a bear," he said.

"So we've just been kind of hanging out and chilling out, not doing anything -- which I know a lot of people find hard to believe, but in fact, that is the case."

Roker was also hospitalized for two months in late 2022 due to other health issues, but returned to work in January.
