Good morning crew,

There is a craft beer taproom about a mile down the street from our house. I like to go there because they always have some unusual beers on tap and if there is one thing I love to do it is try new beer. The wife likes to go there because they allow dogs inside the bar.

December of last year we discovered that they were offering a "month of Christmas beers" promotion where if you came in every week of December to buy a glass of their featured Christmas beer you got a 50 percent off coupon.

That is not something I was about to pass up. A glass of craft beer in a bar can cost anywhere from $6 to $8! Half off of that and you're almost down to what the normal price of beer should be.

So for the last week the wife and I have been recruiting a small cadre of zythophiles to go to this taproom tomorrow afternoon and we're going to squeeze as much value out of that coupon as we can.

The poor proprietor. When he sees the mob of 9 or 10 thirsty people walk into his place tomorrow the dollar signs are going to be floating in front of his eyes. I'm almost going to feel bad handing him that coupon when he gives us the tab.

Laugh it up,

Joe

As the stranger enters a country store, he spots a sign: "Danger! Beware of Dog!" Inside, he sees a harmless old hound asleep in the middle of the floor.

"Is that the dog we're supposed to beware of?" he asks the owner.

"That's him," comes the reply.

"He doesn't look dangerous to me. Why would you post that sign?"

"'Cause before I posted that sign, people kept tripping over him."

After a sheepdog gets all the sheep in the pen, he reports back to the farmer: "All 40 accounted for."

"But I only have 38 sheep," says the farmer.

"I know," says the sheepdog. "But I rounded them up."
