Hello all!

I always look forward to the first snow and it's time for me to pull out all of our winter gear so when it happens I'm all set. One year I couldn't recall where I stashed all of our boots and they were in a cedar chest I had forgotten even opened. Boy oh boy did they sure smell strongly of cedar!

It's about time for those holiday time beverages too like eggnog and mulled cider. I call this one my belly warmer you make it in the crockpot and it fills the house with the most wonderful aromas too. You can also make this in one of those large party-sized coffee pots and let it brew for those special gatherings. For me I'm all about the non-alcoholic versions so the kids may enjoy too. So while I get out my boots I will make sure I've got my supplies at the ready for this CROCKPOT MULLED CIDER too!

Enjoy!

KITCHEN SPRITZER

Don't forget to dazzle your kitchen with cheer this year. Hang boughs of holly, cookie cutters tied with ribbons, and snowflake doilies and stars in windows and from cupboards and ceilings Sprinkle potpourri around the house to bring in the smell of the holidays Sprinkle over the soil of houseplants. It adds color and makes the whole room smell fresh. (The petals and leaves eventually decompose) Toss some potpourri into a crackling fire for even more scent.
