Paramount orders Season 2 of Sylvester Stallone's 'Tulsa King'

Paramount+ announced Wednesday it ordered a second season of Sylvester Stallone's crime drama, Tulsa King.

Stallone plays Dwight Manfredi, a New York mafia capo looking to resume his criminal career after serving 25 years in prison, but surprised to find the mob family he always tried to protect shipping him out to Oklahoma to see what he can establish and earn there.

Andrea Savage, Martin Starr, Jay Will, Max Casella, Domenick Lombardozzi, Vincent Piazza, A.C. Peterson and Dana Delany co-star in the series from Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan and The Sopranos writer-director.

"Tulsa King scored as the No. 1 new series of the year, topping all others," Chris McCarthy, President/CEO of Paramount Media Networks & MTV Entertainment Studios, said in a statement.

"It shattered records, driving us to our biggest new sign-up day in history -- which is why we instantly green-lit Season 2," added McCarthy. "Tulsa King together with Mayor of Kingstown, 1883 and the upcoming 1923, undeniably confirm the success of our strategy to franchise Yellowstone and use it to supercharge streaming growth -- none of which would be possible without the creative mastermind of Taylor Sheridan."

Kim Kardashian, Kanye West settle divorce; rapper to pay child support

Holiday ClearFormer couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have reached a settlement in their divorce.

People reported Tuesday that Kardashian, 42, and West, 45, finalized their split nearly two years after Kardashian filed for divorce.

Kardashian and West will share physical and legal custody of their four children, North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3.

West will pay Kardashian $200,000 per month in child support and will also be responsible for half of the children's medical, educational and security expenses.

Both Kardashian and West waived spousal support.

E! News said the settlement was uncontested and in accordance with the former couple's prenup.

Kardashian filed for divorce in February 2021 after nearly seven years of marriage.

In September, West apologized to Kardashian for "any stress" he's caused since their split during an interview on Good Morning America.

"This is the mother of my children, and I apologize for any stress that I have caused, even in my frustration, because God calls me to be stronger," he said. "I need this person to be less stressed and of best sound mind and as calm as possible to be able to raise those children at the end of the day."

Fleetwood Mac singer-songwriter Christine McVie died Wednesday. She was 79.

The band announced McVie's death on their Facebook page. Variety also confirmed, citing a family statement revealing a short illness as the cause.

'Christina in the Country' with Christina Hall coming to HGTV in January

Christina Hall's new series Christina in the Country is coming to HGTV in January.

The network announced a premiere date for the home renovation series in a press release Tuesday.

Christina in the Country is a spinoff of Hall's show Christina on the Coast. The new series follows Hall as she creates renovations for clients and puts down roots with her husband, Josh Hall, and children at their second home in the Tennessee countryside.

"I've fallen in love with Tennessee and it truly has become our home away from home," Hall said. "We're enjoying all the perks of living in the country -- the privacy, clean air, nature and clear night sky. And having the opportunity to grow my design business both here and in California is a dream come true."

The series premiere will see Hall and her team renovate a home for Josh Hall's sister and her husband, and follow Hall and her family as they explore the Nashville area.

Christina in the Country premieres Jan. 12, 2023, at 8 p.m. EST on HGTV. The show will also be available to stream on Discovery+.

In addition, Christina on the Coast Season 4 will premiere Dec. 8 on HGTV and Discovery+. The series follows Hall's life and career in Southern California.

Hall and her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa came to fame on the HGTV series Flip or Flop.
