*-- 8 Tips to Stop Bloating --*

1. Eat slowly so you don't gulp air. We're always on the go, rushing to one place or another. Next time you eat, slow down, chew, and enjoy your food. This will help you keep from gulping down excess air with your food.

2. Ditch the straws. Straws are easy to get our favorite drinks to our mouths faster. It also means you're sucking down air too. Consider switching to a hydro flask or open neck bottle to drink from, even just take the full lid off the drink you might be enjoying. It'll help you keep too much air from getting swallowed with your favorite drink too.

3. Take a walk. Physical activity can get everything moving more regularly, which can help to release excess gas and waste. A simple walk around the block can provide fast relief from pressure and bloating.

4. Only Drink Water or Tea. Carbonated drinks can add more gas and air in your system, while sugary drinks cause a build up of candida yeast, both of which can cause you to bloat. Coffee can even be a culprit because it excites the gastrointestinal tract and can cause bloating as well.

6. Cut down on Salt. Too much salt can easily cause your body to retain water. It can cause you to feel swollen in the belly, hands and feet especially.

7. Avoid Greasy Foods. Greasy and fatty foods are digested slowly, which can be the culprit for bloating. A basic rule of thumb is moderation and not to over indulge.

8. Rule Out Medical Conditions. Sometimes bloating can be caused by a medical condition. If this is the case, you'll need a doctor to diagnose and manage the condition. So if bloating is a constant issue, consult your doctor because it could be a symptom of something larger.
