Travis Barker on the mend after 'life-threatening pancreatitis' hospitalization

Rock musician Travis Barker is opening up about his unexpected hospitalization last week.

In a series of tweets Saturday, Barker explained: "I went in for an endoscopy Monday feeling great. But After dinner, I developed excruciating pain and have been hospitalized ever since.

"During the endoscopy, I had a very small polyp removed right in a very sensitive area, usually handled by specialists, which unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube. This resulted in severe life-threatening pancreatitis," the Blink-182 drummer added.

"I am so very very grateful that with intensive treatment I am currently much better," he concluded.

Barker, 46, married reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian, 43, in Italy last month.

Kardashian's children, Mason, 12, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 7, and Barker's kids, Landon, 18, and Alabama, 16, and his stepdaughter Atiana, 22, were in attendance.

No Season 2 for 'Time Traveler's Wife' at HBO

Watermelon SummerHBO has canceled its romantic dramedy, The Time Traveler's Wife, after one season.

Starring Rose Leslie and Theo James, the six-episode adaptation of Audrey Niffenegger's novel about a man who has no control over his power to travel through town ran May 15 through June 19.

"Though HBO will not be moving forward with a second season of The Time Traveler's Wife, it was our privilege to partner with master storytellers Steven Moffat and David Nutter," an HBO representative told Deadline Friday.

"We are so grateful for their passion, hard work and care for adapting this beloved book. We also thank Theo and Rose, and the rest of our brilliant cast for their heartfelt performances, which completely captivated audiences."

The Hollywood Reporter said mixed reviews and low ratings were to blame for the cancellation.

Jay Hernandez thanks fans for support in 'Magnum' network switch

Jay Hernandez is thanking fans for their support in getting his canceled CBS private detective show, Magnum P.I., a new home on NBC.

"So many people worked very hard to make this happen. CBS, Universal, Magnum execs & all you fans out there," Hernandez tweeted Sunday.

"The tremendous effort paid off in a very unlikely move for any TV show. We can't wait to start filming again. #MagnumPISaved #NBC #ohana."

News broke Friday that NBC had picked up the series for Seasons 5 and 6, which will consist of 10 episodes each, after CBS declined to renew it.

On Sunday, NBC released a brief video of Hernandez in Hawaii, the show's setting, saying: "Thank you to the fans for the tremendous effort.

"You guys had petitions going. You've got a billboard in Times Square! And because of all that noise you made, we now have a new home at NBC. We will see you in Season 5."

Alexandra Daddario marries at New Orleans wedding

Alexandra Daddario is a married woman.

The 36-year-old actress married producer Andrew Form at a wedding in New Orleans.

Daddario and Form first met during Form's layover in New York. Daddario confirmed their engagement in December.

The couple married at Preservation Hall in New Orleans, they shared with Vogue.

"We were trying to achieve a laid-back aesthetic," Daddario said. "We loved the look of Preservation Hall -- it was so old, so historic; it lets it age and 'flaws' show. That's what makes it so beautiful."

"We wanted it to be about music, drinking, and authentic New Orleans," she added.

Form was previously married to actress Jordana Brewster and has two children, sons Julian, 8, and Rowan, 6, with his ex-wife. Form's sons served as groomsmen and ring bearers at the ceremony.

Daddario shared photos from the wedding Friday on Instagram.

Daddario is known for playing Annabeth Chase in the Percy Jackson film series. She also appeared in the series White Collar and Parenthood and recently played Rachel on the HBO series The White Lotus.

The actress will star in AMC's forthcoming Mayfair Witches series, based on the Anne Rice novel.
