Here's the Scoop...

This is Us star Milo Ventimiglia says the series ending is "bittersweet."

The 44-year-old actor discussed filming the show's sixth and final season during Monday's episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Ventimiglia plays Jack Pearson on This is Us, which is in the midst of its final season on NBC. On Late Night, Ventimiglia said it's "very satisfying" to work on a show that's ending on its own terms.

"We're right in the thick of Season 6," the actor said. "But it's nice to know that we've had the runway to land the plane the way we want to land the plane, versus other shows where it just kind of, like, crashes."

This is Us follows Jack (Ventimiglia), his wife, Rebecca (Mandy Moore), and their kids, Randall (Sterling K. Brown), Kate (Chrissy Pearson) and Kevin (Justin Hartley), in multiple timelines.

When asked, Ventimiglia said he's feeling "pretty good" emotionally about the series ending but expects there to be tears as the show comes to a close.

"I've got a lot of resolve about showing up to work every day, spending time with the crew. We got a great crew," the star said. "But I'm sure those last moments, everyone's going to be in tears. Everyone's going to be crying."

"I think we've established the audience will be crying," he added. "But us in production, I have a feeling that we'll be emotional. We'll have a hard time letting go."

Ventimiglia had nothing but praise for Moore during an interview on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon earlier this month, calling her "the best partner" he's had on screen.

Be Well,
Steve

Music legend Neil Young gives Spotify ultimatum over Joe Rogan COVID-19 misinformation

Legendary singer Neil Young has given an ultimatum to music streaming service Spotify -- it's either he or Joe Rogan.

The 76-year-old Canadian-born singer said that Spotify must remove all of his music, unless it cuts ties with former television host, podcaster and COVID-19 skeptic Joe Rogan for spreading misinformation about coronavirus shots.

Rogan's podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, airs exclusively on Spotify and is one of the most popular programs in the world. Spotify agreed to pay Rogan $100 million in 2020 for exclusive rights to his program. He also tested positive for COVID-19 last summer.

Young said in a letter to Spotify, which was briefly posted to his website, that the streaming service can have Neil Young or it can have Joe Rogan -- but it can't have both.

"I am doing this because Spotify is spreading fake information about vaccines -- potentially causing death to those who believe the disinformation being spread by them," he wrote in the open letter, according to Rolling Stone. "Please act on this immediately today and keep me informed of the time schedule."

An average of 11 million people listen to each episode of Rogan's podcast, on which he has repeatedly questioned the safety of COVID-19 vaccines. Rogan has also questioned other scientifically-proven medical concepts.

Earlier this month, YouTube took down an episode for violating the platform's community guidelines, which bars misinformation related to COVID-19.

Young, however, said that Spotify must assume responsibility for mitigating the spread of misinformation.

"I want you to let Spotify know immediately TODAY that I want all my music off their platform," Young wrote in the letter, according to The Guardian.

Spotify did not immediately respond publicly to Young's demand.

Nearly 300 doctors, scientists and healthcare professionals signed an open letter last month expressed concern about Rogan spreading misinformation.

Young was born in Canada but obtained dual citizenship in the United States in 2020. In addition to his solo music career, he was a part-time member of Crosby, Stills & Nash.

The Lost Symbol won't return for a second season at Peacock.

The streaming service has canceled the action-adventure series after one season, Entertainment Weekly reported Monday.

The Lost Symbol is based on the Dan Brown novel of the same name. The series starred Ashley Zukerman as Harvard symbology professor Robert Langdon and also featured Eddie Izzard, Valorie Curry, Beau Knapp, Rick Gonzalez and Sumalee Montano.
