Greetings Thrifty Friends,
Property crimes are up in a lot of areas. Sometimes you're just unlucky. But sometimes it's a crime of opportunity; like a garage door accidentally left open, or leaving the house completely dark.
If you have dark entryways or an unlit backyard you don't have to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars to have these areas wired for light. The
Solar Powered Night Beam will add outdoor lighting wherever you need it, without having to worry about wiring, batteries, or professional installation.
The Night Beam is solar-powered. That means it doesn't need batteries or wiring. Install it wherever you need extra lighting and the solar panel will charge the 3.7V Lithium ion battery. Once it gets dark the light sensor will turn the COB LEDs on to a soft glow. Whenever motion is detected the motion sensor will trigger a bright, 350 lumen floodlight. Once the motion stops the light returns to low beam mode.
A peel-and-stick adhesive pad on the back on the light allows you to attach it in seconds to most surfaces, but for more secure installation, wall-mounting screws and anchors are also included in the packaging.
With the Night Beam never come home to a dark garage, patio, backyard or stairwell again.

TODAY'S THRIFTY TIP:
Use Your Curtains
Experienced burglars like to 'case' a home before they break in, so they can determine whether your goods are worth the risk. One of the easiest things you can do to make your home burglar-unfriendly is to install curtains or blinds - and then use them. If a thief can't see in, they will likely move on to the next potential victim.
Secure Sliding Doors
If you have sliding doors in your home, place a wooden rod (a cheap curtain dowel will suffice) in the track frame.
Be Cautious in What You Share Online
Don't share information online that could compromise your safety. That means don't advertise that you are going on vacation or to the hospital for a long stay.
Install 24 Hour Timers On 2 or 3 Lamps
If you are going to be out of the house or apartment for an extended period, use a 24 Hour Digital Timer to turn your lights on at your normal time, so any casual observer will never know you're not home!
