"2021 = a new movie EVERY WEEK on Netflix. Here's a sneak peek at 27 of the biggest, brightest, fastest, funniest, feel-good, feel-everything films and stars coming to Netflix this year," Netflix tweeted.

Netflix will release films featuring Dwayne Johnson, Melissa McCarthy, Halle Berry, Jason Momoa, Amy Adams, Ryan Reynolds, Chris Hemsworth and other stars in 2021.

Projects include Red Notice, starring Johnson, Reynolds and Gal Gadot, The Harder They Fall with Regina King, Idris Elba and Jonathan Majors, The Woman in the Window, starring Adams, and Don't Look Up with Jennifer Lawrence, Leonardo DiCaprio and Ariana Grande.

Netflix's current slate of 2021 originals features 70 titles, 52 of which are English live-action, eight of which are animated and 10 of which are non-English language films, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Netflix has seen an increase in subscribers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In other streaming news, Roku has acquired and will start streaming the Quibi content library. Quibi, a short-form streaming service, shut down in December launching in April.

'Deadpool 3' will be a part of MCU and rated R

Gadgets2020Deadpool 3 will be a part of the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe and stay rated R, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige confirmed.

Feige confirmed that star Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool will be entering into the same world as Marvel's Avengers while speaking to Collider on Monday.

"It will be rated R and we are working on a script right now, and Ryan's overseeing a script right now. It will not be [filming] this year. Ryan is a very busy, very successful actor. We've got a number of things we've already announced that we now have to make, but it's exciting for it to have begun," Feige said.

He also said that Deadpool will be a different type of character for the MCU.

Reynolds confirmed the news on Instagram where he posted a photo of an article announcing that Deadpool 3 will be a part of the MCU.

"First order of business: Find the guy who killed Bambi's mom," Reynolds joked.

Deadpool 3 has not set release date. Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin and Wendy Molyneux are penning the script. The first Deadpool film arrived in 2016 with Deadpool 2 releasing in 2018.

Reynolds has starred as Deadpool in two films that were made under Fox. The character interacted with Fox's X-Men movies, but has yet to crossover to the MCU.

"If Deadpool were to be in the Marvel Cinematic Universe I think it would be explosive and amazing and what a sandbox to play in," Reynolds previously said in May while discussing the subject on The Tonight Show.

'Indiana Jones' video game in development from Bethesda, Lucasfilm

A new Indiana Jones video game was announced on Tuesday by publishers Bethesda Softworks and Lucasfilm Games.

The teaser trailer shows Indiana Jones' signature hat and whip, alongside a collection of maps and books for the project released by Bethesda on Twitter.

MachineGames, the studio behind multiple Wolfenstein titles including 2014's Wolfenstein: The New Order and 2017's Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, is developing the game.

A number of Indiana Jones video games have been released for PC and consoles over the years, with Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues last coming out in 2009.

Lucasfilm confirmed in December that Harrison Ford will be returning for a fifth Indiana Jones film, set to be directed by James Mangold. The film will arrive July 2022.
