CHOCOLATE DIPPED STRAWBERRIES:

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
1 tbs. shortening
2 pints Fresh Strawberries, rinsed and patted dry

Cover tray with wax paper. Place chocolate chips and shortening in medium microwave safe bowl. Microwave at high (100%) for 1 minute and stir.

If necessary, microwave additional 30 seconds or until chips are melted and mixture becomes smooth when stirred vigorously. DO NOT overheat! Holding by the top, dip bottom two-thirds of each strawberry into melted mixture.

Shake gently to remove excess. Place on tray covered with waxed paper. Cover and refrigerate until coating is firm, about 1 hour. For best results, use within 24 hours.
