Here's the Scoop...

Action-thriller Tenet is the No. 1 movie in North America for a second weekend, earning $6.7 million in receipts, announced on Sunday.

Coming in at No. 2 is The New Mutants with $2.1 million, followed by Unhinged at No. 3 with $1.5 million, The Broken Hearts Gallery at No. 4 with $1.1 million and Bill & Ted Face the Music at No. 5 with $260,000.

Rounding out the top tier are Words on Bathroom Walls at No. 6 with $242,000, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run at No. 7 with $205,000, The Personal History of David Copperfield at No. 8 with $193,000 and My Brothers' Crossing at No. 9 with $11,539.

Because of the coronavirus pandemic, most new movie debuts have been delayed, with some theatrical releases, such as Mulan, skipped altogether in favor of streaming-service premieres.

Theaters throughout the United States and Canada were closed for months in keeping with social-distancing practices intended to slow the spread of the virus.

They recently began opening their doors, however many in high-population states such as New York and California remain shuttered.

On March 8, the North American box office take was about $100 million.

Tenet earned $20.2 million in North America when it opened last weekend.

Warner Bros. has postponed the release of Wonder Woman 1984 to December.

Variety confirmed Friday that the Wonder Woman sequel will open in theaters Dec. 25 on Christmas Day, rather than Oct. 2 as scheduled.

The film is directed by Patty Jenkins and stars Gal Gadot as Diana Prince, aka Wonder Woman. Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Robin Wright and Connie Nielsen co-star.

"Patty is an exceptional filmmaker and with Wonder Woman 1984 she has delivered an incredibly dynamic film that moviegoers of all ages around the world will absolutely love," Warner Bros. 'Supernatural': Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki thank fans on final day of filming

Supernatural stars Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki were feeling thankful for fans on their final day of filming.

Ackles, 42, and Padalecki, 38, voiced their gratitude Thursday on Instagram before wrapping the 15th and final season of the CW series.

"Today is the final day of a 15 year journey. One that has changed my life forever," Ackles, who plays Dean Winchester, wrote.

"To those I have worked with on this journey and to those who have watched and supported... you will never understand my great appreciation for you. 'Thank you' doesn't cover it. There just aren't words," he said.

"I'm so grateful for these memories that I will carry with me forever," Ackles added. "What a ride it has been. And what a run."

Padalecki, who portrays Sam Winchester, shared a photo of himself giving a thumbs up in his car.

"I write this as I head to my last day of #Supernatural," the actor wrote. "Obviously, my head is spinning and my emotions are stratospheric, but there's still a bit of time left on the clock."

"Thank y'all SO MUCH for the incredible amount of love and support that's been headed our way, in these final hours. It's definitely been felt," he said. "I'll check in soon, but, for now, #WeHaveWorkToDo."

Padalecki's wife, Genevieve Padalecki, actress Hilarie Burton and TV personality Candace Nelson voiced their support for Ackles and Padalecki in the comments.

"So grateful for this wild ride," Genevieve Padalecki wrote.

"Love love love you guys. You Winchester boys are legends and gentlemen," Burton said.

Supernatural premiered on the WB in 2005 and moved to the CW in Season 2. The cast announced in March 2019 that Season 15 will be the show's last.

Supernatural co-stars Misha Collins and Alexander Calvert.

Neve Campbell to reprise Sidney Prescott in new 'Scream' film

Scream star Neve Campbell will return for a fifth movie in the franchise.

The 46-year-old actress confirmed Thursday that she will reprise Sidney Prescott in Scream 5, a relaunch of the horror film series.

Campbell shared the news on Instagram alongside a clip featuring the iconic Scream mask and the words, "Hello, Sidney... remember me?"

"Hello again, Sidney... #ImBack @ScreamMovies," she captioned the post.

Campbell played Sidney in the first four Scream movies, directed by the late Wes Craven. The original film opened in theaters in 1996, while the most recent, Scream 4, was released in 2011.

Campbell joins fellow returning stars David Arquette and Courteney Cox, who will reprise Deputy Dwight "Dewey" Riley and Gale Weathers, respectively.

Scream 5 hails from Spyglass and Paramount Pictures and will be directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett of the filmmaking group Radio Silence.

"After spending time speaking with Radio Silence, they have shown such love, respect and admiration for Wes Craven and all that he's created in the Scream franchise," Campbell said in a statement.

"I am beyond excited to step back into the role of Sidney Prescott and return to Woodsboro," she added, referencing the franchise's fictional setting of Woodsboro, Calif.

The Scream official Twitter account confirmed Thursday that Mason Gooding, Dylan Minnette, Jasmin Savoy, Kyle Gallner, Mikey Madison and Marley Shelton will also join the cast.

Scream 5 is slated for release in January 2022.

Which Zero Dark Thirty actress will play Tammy Wynette in a limited TV series?

Zero Dark Thirty and Interstellar actress Jessica Chastain has signed on to play country music star Tammy Wynette in a Spectrum Originals/Paramount Network limited series called George & Tammy.

It is the adaptation of the book, The Three of Us: Growing Up with Tammy and George, by the couple's daughter, Georgette Jones.

George & Tammy will first have a nine-month exclusive run for Spectrum subscribers on ViacomCBS' forthcoming streaming service and Paramount Network.

Abe Sylvia -- whose credits include Dead to Me -- serves as creator and executive producer. Other producers on the project include Chastain, Josh Brolin and Andrew Lazar.

"I first read Abe's feature script a few years ago and couldn't get it out of my head -- the examination of human frailty and redemption was so unexpected, given the glitz and glamour of the subject matter," Katherine Pope, head of Spectrum Originals, said in a press release on Thursday.

"We all thought we knew who Tammy Wynette was, but there is so much more to her that we never saw. Jessica brings her incredible depth of intelligence, empathy and strength to peel back all the layers of this country superstar. It's an honor to work with this dream team -- all the producers and our partners at 101 Studios and Paramount Network -- we can't wait to bring this incredible series to our viewers."

The casting for Wynette's husband and musical collaborator, George Jones, has not been announced yet.

Wynette died in 1998 at age 55. Jones died in 2013 at age 81. The couple were married in 1969 and divorced in 1975.
