Alyssa Milano announced on Instagram that she has tested positive for COVID-19 antibodies after taking three other tests that came back negative.

Milano, on Wednesday, said that she became sick in March and had multiple COVID-19 symptoms.

"I had never been this kind of sick. Everything hurt. Loss of smell. It felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest. I couldn't breathe. I couldn't keep food in me. I lost nine pounds in two weeks," the actress said alongside a photo of herself wearing an oxygen mask and a photo of her positive test result.

Milano said that she took two COVID-19 tests at the end of March which came back negative followed by an antibody test that also came back negative. The 47-year-old then took a second antibody test that was done from a blood draw after having lingering symptoms for four months.

"I had COVID-19. I just want you to be aware that our testing system is flawed and we don't know the real numbers. I also want you to know, this illness is not a hoax. I thought I was dying. It felt like I was dying," Milano said.

"I will be donating my plasma with hopes that I might save a life. Please take care of yourselves. Please wash your hands and wear a mask and social distance. I don't want anyone to feel the way I felt," she continued.

Milano is set to star in a sequel series to classic sitcom Who's the Boss? along with her former co-star, Tony Danza. The new series will follow Milano's Samantha who is a single-mom living in the same house from the first series.

Amy Adams to star in Netflix's 'Kings of America'

Amy Adams is reuniting with filmmaker Adam McKay and is set to star in limited series drama Kings of America for Netflix.

The limited series will follow the stories of three powerful women including a Walmart heiress, a maverick executive and a longtime Walmart saleswoman and preacher.

The trio will fight against the retail giant, resulting in the biggest class action lawsuit in U.S. history.

Adams will star as one of the leads and is executive producing through her production company Bond Group Entertainment along with Stacy O'Neil.

McKay, who worked with Adams on 2018 film Vice, will direct the first episode and is also executive producing along with Betsy Koch through Hyperobject Industries.

Diana Son (Genius: Aretha, 13 Reasons Why) will serve as showrunner and executive producer. Jess Kimball Leslie, who created the series, is writing and executive producing.

Vice, about former Vice President Dick Cheney, earned eight Academy Award nominations, including Best Supporting Actress for Adams.

Sarah Paulson is Nurse Ratched in trailer for Netflix series

Netflix is giving a glimpse of its new series Ratched.

The streaming service shared a first trailer for the drama Tuesday featuring Sarah Paulson as Nurse Mildred Ratched.

Ratched is created by Evan Romansky and executive produced by American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy. The series is based on Ken Kesey's novel One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, previously adapted as a 1975 film starring Louise Fletcher as Ratched.

Ratched is a prequel to One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest that provides an origin story for Ratched, the iconic villain who has Jack Nicholson's character lobotomized in the film adaptation.

The Ratched trailer shows Ratched (Paulson) arrive at a psychiatric hospital after serving in World War II. She attempts to "show mercy" to the patients by developing her own type of nursing.

"I know how you feel right now. Told that you're mad, when that's what's driving you mad," Ratched says.

Netflix also released a poster for the series featuring Paulson as Ratched. The company previously shared first look photos for the show.

Ratched co-stars Cynthia Nixon, Judy Davis, Sharon Stone, Jon Jon Briones, Finn Wittrock and Charlie Carver. The series premieres Sept. 18.

Tyra Banks hopes to make 'Coyote Ugly' sequel

Coyote Ugly star Tyra Banks still hopes to make a sequel to the 2000 film.

The 46-year-old model, actress and television personality gave an update on the potential sequel in an interview with Variety celebrating Coyote Ugly's 20th anniversary.

Banks, who played Zoe in the film, said she's been pushing for years for a sequel to be made.

"I've had a passion to do a sequel to Coyote Ugly for some time now,

she said. "I've even reached out to [producer] Jerry Bruckheimer and the team and the original writer and they've had some jam sessions on what it could possibly be."

Coyote Ugly was written by Todd Graff and Gina Wendkos and directed by David McNally. The film's soundtrack includes four songs written by Diane Warren and performed by LeAnn Rimes.

"I feel like we need to do some type of rallying cry to social media, you know, kind of like a petition to get people to sign to make the sequel," Banks said. "I actually really want to produce it. We have really been wanting to do that and even had a form of a treatment with the original writer. And even Warren, who did the original music with Rimes, is super passionate about this."

Piper Perabo, who played Violet Sanford in Coyote Ugly, also discussed the possibility of a sequel in the interview. She said she would want the movie to reflect the "evolution" of feminism since 2000.

Banks responded in a tweet Monday to a Vogue feature on the fashions of Coyote Ugly. Banks recalled how she injured herself on the film's set.

"You'd never know I tore my knee while shooting Coyote Ugly. But the fashions were on point," she wrote.

Coyote Ugly centered on a group of women working at the Coyote Ugly bar. The film co-starred Adam Garcia, Maria Bello, Melanie Lynskey, Briget Moynahan and John Goodman.

ABC announced in July that Banks will host Dancing with the Stars Season 29. Banks is also developing the ModelLand theme park, which delayed its opening in March due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Comedy Central orders 'Ren & Stimpy Show' reboot

Comedy Central announced on Wednesday a new reboot of classic Nickelodeon animated series, The Ren & Stimpy Show.

The network will reimagine the series for a new generation and will be hiring a new creative team. Nickelodeon Animation Studios is handling the project.

The Ren & Stimpy Show premiered in 1991 and ran for five seasons. The cartoon, known for its adult-humor, followed the wacky exploits of Ren, a chihuahua and Stimpy, a cat.

The show was turned into more of an adult series in 2003 with Ren & Stimpy Adult Party Cartoon which aired briefly on Spike, now the Paramount Network.

The Ren & Stimpy Show is the latest animated series to be brought back by Comedy Central including Beavis and Butt-Head and Daria spin-off Jodie.

A documentary on The Ren & Stimpy Show, titled Happy Happy Joy Joy, from directors Ron Cicero and Kimo Easterwood, premiered at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival. The film addressed sexual abuse allegations against show creator John Kricfalusi.

Which director has been tapped to helm the 'Captain Marvel' sequel?

Candyman director Nia DaCosta has been tapped to helm the Captain Marvel sequel starring Brie Larson, sources with knowledge of the decision said Wednesday.

Deadline reported DaCosta secured the job after meeting over the weekend with Marvel Cinematic Universe chief Kevin Feige.

The Hollywood Reporter and The Wrap confirmed the news.

It's unclear when filming on the superhero film is expected to begin, but Megan McDonnell has completed work on the script.

Captain Marvel debuted in March 2019, grossing $1.1 billion at the box office worldwide. Larson, who also appeared as the character in Avengers: Endgame, will return as the titular character.

Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck directed and co-wrote the first Captain Marvel. The new film will take place in the present day after the first one took place in the 1990s.

DaCosta's Candyman reboot was originally slated to hit theaters this summer but was delayed until Oct. 16 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The next MCU film to hit theaters is expected to be Black Widow starring Scarlett Johansson. The film was delayed until Nov. 6 due to COVID-19.
