2 Corinthians 10:3-6

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. . .

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

After praying some more about yesterday's topic, I realized that another scripture is very helpful in dealing with negative thoughts. Remember that our mind is like a battlefield, as you will see today.

God Bless You!

TODAY'S NOT SO TRIVIAL TRIVIA QUESTION:

Q. What did Sarah say she had not done, thereby lying to God?

Answer below.

TODAY'S BIT OF WISDOM/REFLECTION:

Negative thoughts breed doubts and despair. Such thinking enslaves life and keeps it from reaching out for the best.

-C. Neil Strait

Let's purpose to cast off negative thoughts and bring them into captivity to the obedience of Christ!

FEATURED FUNNY:

A cow-puncher ordered a steak at a restaurant. The waiter brought it in rare--very rare. The cow-puncher looked at it and demanded that it be returned to the kitchen and cooked.

"It is cooked," snapped the waiter.

"Cooked--nothing," replied the cow-puncher. "I've seen cows hurt worse than that and get well."

ANSWER TO TRIVIA QUESTION:

Q. What did Sarah say she had not done, thereby lying to God?

A. Laugh.

And the LORD said to Abraham, "Why did Sarah laugh, saying, 'Shall I surely bear a child, since I am old?' Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son."

But Sarah denied it, saying, "I did not laugh," for she was afraid.

And He said, "No, but you did laugh!"
