Here's the Scoop...

CC LiquidationsChris Pratt says Jurassic World 3 is a "massive" film like his blockbuster movie Avengers: Endgame.

The 40-year-old actor confirmed on Wednesday's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show that Jurassic World 3, a sequel to Jurassic World (2015) and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018), will feature the original Jurassic Park cast.

"It's got everybody," Pratt said. "It feels kind of like Endgame."

"It's got pretty much everybody in it," he added. "All the cast from the original Jurassic Park is coming back, so it's going to feel very much like how Endgame brought everything together in Marvel."

Pratt played Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord, in Avengers: Endgame, which featured dozens of characters from Marvel Cinematic Universe. He portrays Owen Grady in the Jurassic World film series, which takes place more than 20 years after the events of Jurassic Park.

Jurassic Park, starring Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum, opened in theaters in 1993. The movie was followed by two sequels, The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997) and Jurassic Park III (2001).

Pratt said he begins filming Jurassic World 3 this week.

"I leave tomorrow," the actor said. "I'll be shooting for a long time. The script is unbelievable. Colin Trevorrow, who wrote and directed Jurassic World, is coming back to do this one. I can't wait."

"I will shoot on and off until July," he added. "It's a massive movie. It's a big movie. We'll be all over the world. The story's really, really engaging, really cool."

Producers initially announced in September that Neill, Dern and Goldblum will reprise Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler and Ian Malcolm in Jurassic World 3.

Jurassic World 3 co-stars Bryce Dallas Howard and opens in theaters in 2021.

On Ellen, Pratt also discussed how he got a severe sunburn during his honeymoon with his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger.

Be Well,

Netflix acquires 'Don't Look Up' with Jennifer Lawrence

Netflix has acquired a new comedy film starring Jennifer Lawrence.

The streaming service announced in a press release Wednesday that it picked up the rights to Don't Look Up, written, directed and produced by The Big Short helmer Adam McKay.

Don't Look Up follows two low-level astronomers, who embark on a giant media tour to warn mankind of an approaching asteroid that will destroy Earth.

"I'm so thrilled to make this movie with Jen Lawrence. She's what folks in the 17th century used to call 'a dynamite act.' And the fact that Netflix sees this movie as a worldwide comedy sets the bar high for me and my team in an exciting and motivating way," McKay said in a statement.

McKay is also known for the films Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Step Brothers and Vice.

"Adam has always had great timing when it comes to making smart, relevant and irreverent films that depict our culture," Netflix head of films Scott Stuber said. "Even if he somehow ends up predicting planet Earth's imminent demise, we're excited to add this to our slate before it all comes to an end."

Principal photography on Don't Look Up will begin in April. The film will debut on Netflix later this year.

Lawrence most recently appeared in the X-Men movie Dark Phoenix. She will star in and produce the upcoming film Red, White and Water.

Ben Affleck reflects on alcoholism, effect on kids

Ben Affleck is reflecting on his struggles with alcoholism and its affect on his kids.

The 47-year-old actor and director said in an interview with Diane Sawyer for ABC News released Thursday that Violet, 14, Seraphina, 11, and Samuel, 7, his three children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, are a major factor in his sobriety.

Affleck discussed how his father, Timothy Affleck, was also an alcoholic. Affleck said his dad's behavior was "painful" for him as a child, but inspired him to be sober for his own kids.

"My dad, he was drunk every day and that was just life," the star said. "Then as that got worse, that was really, really painful. But I always said, that would never be me. I am never going to do that."

"I wish he had been sober during those formative years, but what he's taught me is, how important it is for me to be sober now during these formative years for my kids," he added.

Affleck has struggled with substance abuse issues for years and gone to rehab multiple times. He publicly relapsed again in October, as seen in footage that was published by TMZ.

"I really don't want my children to pay for my sins," Affleck said. "Or to be afraid for me, which is one of the hard parts of being the child of an alcoholic. You think, 'What if my dad gets drunk? What if he does something stupid? What if he ends up on TMZ, and it's on my newsfeed and other kids see it?'"

Affleck said he's seen part of the video but doesn't need to watch more. He previously discussed the footage in an interview with The New York Times.

"Relapse is embarrassing, obviously," the actor said. "I wish it didn't happen. I really wish it wasn't on the Internet for my kids to see."

Affleck told ABC News he took the past six months off to focus on his kids, and said he is doing his "very, very best" for his children.

Affleck will next star in The Way Back, which opens in theaters March 6. The film centers on Jack Cunningham (Affleck), a former basketball player struggling with alcoholism who becomes a coach at his alma mater.

Lark Voorhies felt 'slighted' by 'Saved by the Bell' reboot snub

Original Saved by the Bell star Lark Voorhies says she felt "slighted" after she was not invited to participate in the show's reboot.

The 45-year-old actress responded on Wednesday's episode of The Dr. Oz Show to being left out of the upcoming series, which will reunite Voorhies' former co-stars Mario Lopez, Elizabeth Berkley and Mark-Paul Gosselaar.

Voorhies played Lisa Marie Turtle on Saved by the Bell, which had a four-season run on NBC from 1989 to 1993. In a clip from the Dr. Oz Show released Tuesday, Voorhies read a journal entry expressing her feelings about the reboot.

"I have to admit I did feel a bit slighted and hurt when I was not invited to be part of the Saved by the Bell reunion, as well as other cast members events," the actress said. "Yet of course, I also realized that having this puzzling disorder may have played a major part in that factual decision."

"With that in mind, I am truly thankful for having had the chance to work on a show that has been so successful," she added.

Voorhies has largely stayed out of the spotlight since Saved by the Bell. In July 2015, Voorhies denied she has bipolar disorder after her mother, Tricia Holloway, said the actress is "psychologically, mentally and emotionally fragile."

In addition, Voorhies denied in December 2015 that she has lupus.

Voorhies was not present at a Saved by the Bell reunion dinner with Lopez, Berkeley, Gosselaar and Tiffani Thiessen in April 2019.

The Saved by the Bell reboot will follow Lexi (Josie Totah), a cheerleader and the most popular girl at Bayside High. Lopez, Berkeley and Gosselaar will reprise their characters, A.C. Slater, Jessie Spano and Zack Morris.

Which cast member revisited her 'This is Us' audition tape?

This is Us star Mandy Moore is looking back on her audition for the NBC series.

The 35-year-old actress and singer revisited her audition in a video Tuesday after the show's characters opened a time capsule during this week's episode.

The video features footage of Moore's audition for Rebecca Pearson. Moore recalled how she wasn't immediately chosen for the part.

"The feedback was, 'They really liked you. But now they're gonna go read a bunch of people in New York and across the country, and we'll hopefully hear back in a couple of weeks,'" she said.

Moore said she got a callback "five or six weeks later" and was asked to do a chemistry read with Milo Ventimiglia, who was ultimately cast as Rebecca's husband, Jack Pearson.

"I got called in to audition with Milo. He was the only guy I read with. We sort of just instantly had this connection," the actress said.

The video features footage from Moore and Ventimiglia's chemistry read, which features a scene from the series premiere.

"It went well, and I guess the rest is history because we both got the job," Moore said.

This is Us premiered on NBC in 2016 and is in its fourth season. The series stars Moore, Ventimiglia, Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz and Justin Hartley as the Pearson family.

Brown, who portrays Randall Pearson, reflected on his experience with the show in a video Wednesday.

"If I could go back to day one of This is Us ... One thing I would tell myself is that I was going to make some of the best friends of my entire life," the actor said of his co-stars.

This is Us airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET. The series was renewed through Season 6 in May.
