"I will say that a lot of the female cast members from Marvel walked up to Kevin [Feige, president of Marvel Studios] and we were like, 'We are in this together, we want to do this' ... I feel like if enough people out in the world talk about how much they want it, maybe it'll happen."

Harry Connick Jr. to receive star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Singer and actor Harry Connick Jr. will be honored with the 2,678th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Oct. 24.

Connick will be placed in the category of recording during a ceremony that will also feature the musician's New In Town co-star Renee Zellweger and Trish Kinane, the showrunner and executive producer of American Idol.

"When choosing a star location, we try to incorporate ties to the honoree and this one turned out to be a coincidence as we had heard that one of Harry's favorite songwriters is Cole Porter, who is Harry's neighbor star," producer of the Walk of Fame Ana Martinez said in a statement.

Connick has earned Grammy and Emmy Awards throughout his career and has been nominated for a Tony. He is best known for his hit songs "When Harry Met Sally," "Blue Light, Red Light (Someone's There)," When My Heart Finds Christmas," "Come By Me" and "Only You."

He has starred in films such as Dolphin Tale, Hope Floats, P.S. I Love You, Bug and Copycat. The 52-year-old served as a judge on American Idol and has hosted his own daytime show titled Harry.

Connick, on Broadway, starred in The Pajama Game and served as a composer and lyricist for Thou Shalt Not. He started in September a new Broadway production, Harry Connick, Jr. - A Celebration of Cole Porter.

'Will & Grace' final season to premiere on Oct. 24

The final season of Will & Grace will premiere on Oct. 24 at 9:30 p.m. EDT, the network has announced.

Will & Grace's eleventh and final season was scheduled to arrive in early 2020. NBC has moved its freshman comedy Sunnyside to NBC.com and the NBC App to make way for Will & Grace.

"We've got BIG NEWS, honey!" the official Twitter account for Will & Grace said about the premiere date alongside a video of Grace (Debra Messing) dealing with her pregnancy along with Will (Eric McCormack), Jack (Sean Hayes) and Karen (Megan Mullally).

Will & Grace, from series creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan, debuted in 1998 and ended its first run in 2006. New episodes were produced starting in 2017. The series will total 246 episodes following Season 11.

Sunnyside, created by Kal Penn who also stars, aired on Will & Grace's new time slot. The show follows Penn as a disgraced former city councilman who tutors a group of immigrants for their citizenship test.

NBC has increased Sunnyside's episode order from 10 to 11. Poppy Liu, Kiran Deol, Moses Storm, Diana Maria Riva, Samba Schutte and Joel Kim Booster also star.

Which actress says playing Harley Quinn is like therapy?

Kaley Cuoco says playing Harley Quinn has been a therapeutic experience.

The 33-year-old actress appeared on Wednesday's episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, where she discussed voicing the "psychotic" Harley Quinn in a new DC Universe animated series of the same name.

"It's been like therapy for me because I spend two hours in a booth by myself screaming and cussing," Cuoco said. "She's literally insane."

"The show's hilarious. I'm not trying to be biased -- the scripts and writing is genius," she added. "It's a lot of screaming and it's psychotic. I've never spoken like this before."

Cuoco said the show is fond of one curse word in particular.

"At one point we got some notes, it might have been from the network, it was like, 'It's just too many f-words.' We got this thing like, 'You've got to cut it back,'" she said. "It was like one after another."

Harley Quinn follows Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy (Lake Bell) after Harley Quinn leaves her boyfriend, the Joker (Alan Tudyk). DC Universe released a first trailer in July that shows Harley Quinn wreaking havoc.

Diedrich Bader co-stars as the voice of Batman, with Jim Rash as Riddler, Ron Funches as King Shark and Christopher Meloni as James Gorden. Harley Quinn premieres on DC Universe this fall.

Cuoco is known for playing Penny on the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory, which ended in May after a 12-season run. She will star in an HBO Max adaptation of the Chris Bohjalian novel The Flight Attendant.
