'Clueless' star Stacey Dash arrested for domestic battery
Clueless star Stacey Dash was arrested Sunday for domestic battery.
ABC WFTS confirmed Monday that Dash, 52, was taken into custody and charged with domestic battery Sunday evening in New Port Richey, Fla.
The Pasco County Sheriff's Office said Dash had a verbal argument with a male victim at her apartment before pushing him and slapping him in the face. Officers responded to the scene, where they noticed red scratch marks on the victim's upper left arm.
TMZ said Monday that Dash's altercation was with her husband, Jeffrey Marty. Sources said Dash is being held on $500 bail.
Dash and Marty secretly married in Florida in April 2018. Dash was previously wed to Brian Lovell, Jams Maby and Emmanuel Xuereb.
Dash played Dionne Marie Davenport in Clueless, which opened in theaters in 1995. She later served as a commentator for Fox News and campaigned for a California congressional seat in 2018.
LOOSE LIPS:
"Everyone is somewhere on the spectrum, and that's part of the landscape. We don't have to make that the subject of the piece. ...There's not 'the queer character.' It's all over."

Injured Ray Lewis drops out of 'Dancing with the Stars'
Pro football player Ray Lewis became the third celebrity to leave Season 28 of Dancing with the Stars in Los Angeles on Monday night.
Lewis, who appeared on Monday's live show but did not take the floor, dropped out of the competition due to the re-injury of tendons he tore in his foot in 2010. He is expected to undergo surgery.
"This is probably one of the hardest decisions of my life," Lewis said in a pre-taped segment.
"Right now, I've got to make sure I don't damage something enough to where I can't walk," he said. "I've had some of the best experiences of my life on this show. I've met an entirely new family and I experienced what I've always wanted to experience -- what dancing on the stage, what dancing with the stars felt like. It was absolutely incredible."
The Supremes singer Mary Wilson was eliminated from the contest last week. Model Christie Brinkley broke her arm during rehearsals and was replaced by her daughter Sailor Brinkley-Cook before the show premiered.
Because Lewis dropped out, no one was eliminated from the competition on Monday.
Still in the running for the coveted mirror-ball trophy are Brinkley-Cook; Queer Eye star Karamo Brown; The Bachelorette alum Hannah Brown; country music singer Lauren Alaina; actor James Van Der Beek; The Office alum Kate Flannery; singer Ally Brooke; NBA star Lamar Odom; actor Kel Mitchell; and former White House press secretary Sean Spicer.
Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews are the show's hosts. Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli are its judges.
Angelina Jolie brings kids to 'Maleficent: Mistress of Evil' premiere
Angelina Jolie attended the Maleficent: Mistress of Evil premiere with her kids.
The 44-year-old actress was joined by her five younger children, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 13, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 11, at the event Monday in Los Angeles.
Jolie is also mom to Maddox, 18, who started college in South Korea in August. She is parent to her six children with her ex-husband, actor Brad Pitt.
Jolie wore a black custom Atelier Versace dress and a scorpion pin by Robert Procop to the premiere. Her kids sported coordinating black ensembles.
"It's just so wonderful to have their [support]," Jolie told Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet. "They're my friends."
Jolie plays the title character in Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, a sequel to the 2014 film Maleficent. The new movie co-stars Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer and Chiwetel Ejiofer, and opens in theaters Oct. 18.
Jolie mentioned her children while sending love to "wicked women," or women breaking rules and pushing boundaries, in the September issue of Elle. She said she encourages her sons to respect women and her daughters to develop their minds.
"You can always put on a pretty dress, but it doesn't matter what you wear on the outside if your mind isn't strong," Jolie said. "There is nothing more attractive -- you might even say enchanting -- than a woman with an independent will and her own opinions."

Which actress said the 'Batwoman' suit is like a 'second skin'?
Ruby Rose described how it felt to don the cape and cowl for The CW's new Batwoman series while appearing on The Tonight Show.
"It's like a second skin and it feels like you're faster and stronger and better and bulletproof," the actress said on Monday about the superhero costume, before mentioning the drawbacks of wearing one.
"You're a little slower and it's a little uncomfortable on the back after a while," she continued.
Rose also mentioned how initially she was allergic to the adhesive tape used in the Batwoman mask, giving her hives.
"I was like a pre-Proactiv 15-year-old child kind of commercial," she said of how her face broke out after wearing the mask, causing production to design a new one.
Rose, while performing stunts on the show, had broken her neck, putting her at risk of becoming paralyzed. The 33-year-old posted on Instagram recently video of the surgery that she received.
She told host Jimmy Fallon that during the recovery period she became depressed about not being allowed to move and the thought of not being able to do things herself.
"The only way I really got myself out of it was being like, how much exciting things are happening this year," Rose said. "By slowing things down and being appreciative and being in the present moment and appreciating the people around you, can make you feel like a million dollars."
Batwoman premieres on The CW on Sunday.
