Good Boys is the No. 1 movie in North America this weekend, earning $21 million in receipts, BoxOfficeMojo.com announced Sunday.
The film is the first R-rated comedy since 2016's The Boss to hold the top spot on the roster, Variety said.
Coming in at No. 2 this weekend is Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw with $14.1 million, followed by The Lion King at No. 3 with $11.9 million, The Angry Birds Movie 2 at No. 4 with $10.5 million and Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark at No. 5 with $10 million.
Rounding out the top tier are 47 Meters Down: Uncaged at No. 6 with $9 million, Dora and the Lost City of Gold at No. 7 with $8.5 million, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood at No. 8 with $7.6 million, Blinded by the Light at No. 9 with $4.5 million and The Art of Racing in the Rain at No. 10 with $4.4 million.
'Easy Rider' star Peter Fonda dead at 79
Easy Rider and Ulee's Gold icon Peter Fonda died of lung cancer at his home in Los Angeles on Friday, his family said. He was 79.
The actor and occasional director was part of the Fonda acting dynasty that included father Henry, sister Jane and daughter Bridget.
Fonda's representative confirmed his death to the Hollywood Reporter.
"It is with deep sorrow that we share the news that Peter Fonda has passed away," his family said in a statement to People.com.
"The official cause of death was respiratory failure due to lung cancer," the statement added. "In one of the saddest moments of our lives, we are not able to find the appropriate words to express the pain in our hearts. As we grieve, we ask that you respect our privacy."
"I am very sad," Jane said in a separate statement to Variety. "He was my sweet-hearted baby brother. The talker of the family. I have had beautiful alone time with him these last days. He went out laughing."
Peter's other credits include Boundaries, Ghost Rider, The Maldonado Miracle, Wild Hogs, The Limey, Escape From L.A., 3:10 to Yuma, Bodies, Rest & Motion, Deadfall, The Runner, The Wild Angels, Futureworld, Cannonball Run, The Trip, and Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry.
He also penned the 1998 autobiography Don't Tell Dad: A Memoir.
Kevin Smith working on new 'He-Man' cartoon for Netflix
Netflix announced Sunday that filmmaker Kevin Smith is working on its new He-Man cartoon.
"The war for Eternia begins again! Superstar director Kevin Smith continues the original series' story right where it left off in Masters of the Universe: Revelation, a new series telling the epic tale of what may be He-Man and Skeletor's final battle," the streaming service tweeted.
Based on a Mattel toy line, the original animated adventure series initially aired 1983-85 and remained popular in reruns for years.
Netflix is also the home of the re-imagined She-Ra, which was renewed for its second season and takes place in the same universe as He-Man.
Smith is known for his films Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.
His movie Jay and Silent Bob Reboot is set to open on Oct. 15.

Heather Locklear faces treatment stint after entering no contest plea
Actress Heather Locklear will have to successfully complete a residential treatment program to stay out of jail after she pleaded no contest to eight misdemeanor counts stemming from two confrontations she had at her home with authorities responding to a domestic violence calls.
Ventura County District Attorney Gregory Totten said in a statement Friday that the Golden Globe-nominated actress, best known for her roles on Dynasty, Melrose Place and Spin City, had a 120-day jail sentence stayed pending the completion of the program.
The statement said that Locklear also will be placed on summary probation for three years.
Locklear faced five misdemeanor counts of battery on a peace officer, two misdemeanor counts of resisting an officer and one misdemeanor account of battery on an emergency medical technician, stemming from the February incident. Locklear could have spent 12 months in jail for each count.
Locklear's attorney entered the plea on her behalf Friday.
In February, Locklear was arrested at her Thousand Oaks, Calif., home after fighting with her boyfriend. Authorities claimed that Locklear was combative when they attempted to take her into custody. Authorities intervened in a similar incident at the actress home in June 2018.
Locklear, who had been married to musicians Richie Sambora and Tommy Lee, served informal probation for a 2008 suspicion of driving under influence charge that was later dismissed. She has been rumored to spending five different stints in rehab for drug and alcohol issues, the latest in 2017.

Grey's Anatomy actress Camilla Luddington and 13 Reasons Why alum Matthew Alan exchanged marriage vows in California this weekend.
People.com said the bride, 35, and groom, 36, tied the knot in a coastal ceremony on Saturday in front of about 70 friends and family members.
UsMagazine.com, which also reported the wedding, said the stars have been a couple since 2008 and have a 2-year-old daughter.
They got engaged in January 2018.

Sarah Chalke has landed a role in the 10-part Netflix series, Firefly Lane.
The Hollywood Reporter said Chalke will act opposite Katherine Heigl in the show about two women who have been friends for 30 years.
Deadline.com said it also confirmed Chalke's casting for the adaptation of Kristin Hannah's novel.
The project was first announced in July.
