Proverbs 3:7-8

Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the LORD and depart from evil.

If you are feeling sick all the time, perhaps struggling with chronic sickness, I encourage you to do a little bit of soul searching, and see if there is any area of your life in which you are wise in your own eyes, (but not in the Lord's will), or are you actively living in any sin. Mind you, I am NOT SAYING that everyone who is sick is living in sin! I am only encouraging all of us to do a bit of spiritual house cleaning--it can never hurt.
