Hi All!

I think I'm going crazy. Please tell me someone else out there has done this before so I know I'm not alone. I was making an Angel Food cake for a birthday treat yesterday (just a boxed mix) and could not get the aluminum pan clean. No amount of soaking or anything seemed to help...those walls were totally cemented with angelfood crust. In a moment of I would have to consider temporary insanity I threw the pan out! I've had that pan for a long time too and now that the garbage has already been picked up today I feel kinda dumb but maybe deep down I just wanted a new
pan. I'm usually pretty thrifty minded but I threw it out in a mini tantrum moment lol. Cleaning has never really been one of my finer points which is why most of my stuff is non-stick. Now that I've snitched on myself on to the recipe which is a sweet-tooth pleaser. These KRISPY TREAT PB & COCOA BARS include chocolate chips and peanut butter for more umph and are most easy to clean out of the pan ;o)

Enjoy!

BUST THE RUST:

Believe it or not I do know how to get rust out of the kitcen so I'll pass along. You can use a commercial cleaner designed to remove rus like CLR, but a safer alternative for dishes us using lemon juice. Lemons are usually a very effective yet gentle treatment for rust stains. If you do not have any fresh lemons on hand, lemon juice from the bottle works just as well. Try applying lemon juice to the stains, then cover the the lemon juice with salt and let dry for an hour. Rinse off, and wash. If this doesn´t work, you may be stuck using the commercial cleaner.
