I'm sad to report that Grumpy Cat, the Internet-famous feline known for her unique, unhappy-looking face, has died at the age of 7.

Grumpy Cat's owners announced her death on Instagram Friday, stating that she suffered from complications from a recent urinary tract infection. She died peacefully at home on Tuesday.

"Besides being our baby and a cherished member of the family, Grumpy Cat has helped millions of people smile all around the world - even when times were tough," her owners said.

"Her spirit will continue to live on through her fans everywhere."

Grumpy Cat, real name Tardar Sauce, became an Internet sensation in Sept. 2012 after Bryan Bundesen -- the brother of owner Tabatha Bundesen -- uploaded a photo of the feline to Reddit. The post earned over one million views within two days and led to Grumpy Cat being named Most Influential Cat by MSNBC that same year.

Grumpy Cat starred in a Lifetime holiday movie titled Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever which featured Aubrey Plaza voicing the titular animal and appeared in a Friskies music video alongside fellow internet-famous feline Oskar the Blind Cat.

The company the represents Grumpy Cat made headlines in January 2018 when they won a copyright lawsuit against coffee company Grenade.

Grumpy Cat Limited had sued Grenade for using the cat's image to sell roasted coffee and t-shirts when they only had the rights to sell a line of iced coffees named "Grumpy Cat Grumppuccino."

Sophie Turner, Emilia Clarke reflect on 'Game of Thrones' as series winds down

Several stars of Game of Thrones took to social media this weekend to mark the end of their beloved medieval fantasy drama.

The show's eighth and final season wrapped up on HBO Sunday night.

"Sansa, Thank you for teaching me resilience, bravery and what true strength really is," Sophie Turner wrote to her character on Instagram, alongside a cast photo.

"I grew up with you. I fell in love with you at 13 and now 10 years on... at 23 I leave you behind, but I will never leave behind what you've taught me."

Emilia Clarke also shared an image of the series' ensemble on Instagram.

"Finding the words to write this post has left me overwhelmed with how much I want to say but how small words feel in comparison to what this show and Dany have meant to me," Clarke wrote.

"Game of Thrones has shaped me as a woman, as an actor and as a human being."

Liam Cunningham who played Ser Davos tweeted: "Almost there. It's been utterly extraordinary. Thank you all."

Gwendoline Christie, who played Brienne, shared a photo on Instagram of her and co-star Kit Harington (Jon Snow) in costume, looking shocked and upset.

She captioned it, "Being told the ending of Game of Thrones."

'Westworld' Season 3 to arrive in 2020, Aaron Paul stars in trailer

HBO has released the first trailer for Westworld Season 3 that features new star Aaron Paul.

The clip, released on Sunday before the series finale of Game of Thrones, introduces audiences to Paul's new character.

Paul is featured living out his days inside a futuristic city where he takes part in some criminal activity.

The trailer ends with Paul coming across Evan Rachel Wood's character Dolores who appears to be struggling and needs some help.

Westworld Season 3 is set to arrive on HBO in 2020. Paul joined the sci-fi drama as a series regular in September. The actor is best known for his role as Jesse Pinkman on AMC's Breaking Bad. Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright and James Marsden also star on Westworld as part of the ensemble cast.

'60 Minutes': Steve Kroft to retire after 30 seasons

Longtime 60 Minutes correspondent Steve Kroft is retiring from the show.

The Hollywood Reporter confirmed Friday the 73-year-old broadcast journalist will appear in his final segment of the CBS newsmagazine Sunday.

Kroft will announce his plan to step down at the end of Sunday's episode, the show's 51st season finale. He has served as a correspondent on 60 Minutes for 30 seasons and will end as the longest-tenured correspondent.

Variety said Kroft's final investigative report examines bank fraud and a money laundering scheme. CBS is expected to air a tribute to the journalist in September.

"From the moment Steve Kroft arrived at CBS News in 1980, he has been shot out of a cannon and wherever he landed his stories broke news, had depth, and a strong sense of humanity," CBS News president Susan Zirinsky said.

"From Central America to a tour of duty in London, and back to New York, his destiny was clear -- Kroft's investigative instincts and ability to unravel the most complex stories made him a perfect fit for the 60 Minutes team," she lauded.

Kroft's memorable moments include a 1992 sit-down with Bill and Hilary Clinton amid the Gennifer Flowers scandal and a 2008 interview with President-elect Barack Obama that drew 25 million viewers.

News of Kroft's departure comes follows big changes at CBS News. Norah O'Donnell will leave CBS This Morning to host CBS Evening News, while Bill Owens replaced longtime 60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager in September.

'Caine Mutiny,' 'Winds of War' author Herman Wouk dead at 103

Pulitzer Prize-winning author and World War II veteran Herman Wouk has died at the age of 103.

Several of Wouk's novels were adapted as classic films and TV miniseries, including The Caine Mutiny, Youngblood Hawke, Marjorie Morningstar, The Winds of War and War and Remembrance. The Bronx-born scribe wrote some of the screenplays himself.

Wouk's son Joseph announced Wouk's death on Twitter Friday, alongside a photo of them.

Variety confirmed his death.

"Let it be known that Herman Wouk published a novel at age 97, his autobiography at age 100, and was working on another book at the time of his death, when he was almost 104," journalist and author Ted Gioia tweeted.

Which contestant won Season 17 of 'American Idol'?

Laine Hardy was crowned the winner of American Idol Season 17, coming out on top over fellow finalists Alejandro Aranda and Madison VanDenburg.

Hardy won American Idol's live, coast-to-coast fan vote on Sunday during a season finale that featured performances from former American Idol finalists and current judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie.

Adam Lambert took the stage to perform his new single "NewEyes" while Carrie Underwood also appeared to sing her new single "Southbound."

Hardy shared the stage with Jon Pardi for a performance of "Night Shift" and "Dirt On My Boots" while VanDenburg shared the stage with Dan + Shay to sing "All To Myself" and"Speechless."

Also on hand was last season's winner Maddie Poppe who made a special appearance. This was the second season to air on ABC.
