'Avengers: Endgame' earns $169 million overseas in one day
Marvel's Avengers: Endgame has started its box office run by earning a record $169 million outside the United States after one day of release.
The superhero epic took home $107.2 million in China. Other major markets included South Korea with $8.4 million, Australia with $7 million, France with $6 million, Italy with $5.8 million and Germany with $5.6 million.
Endgame is projected to reach a record $900 to $950 million or more globally after its first weekend.
In the United States, where the film is opening across more than 4600 theaters, Endgame is expected to break the domestic record for best opening weekend that is held by last year's Avengers: Infinity War at $257 million.
Endgame opened in the United States on Thursday starting at 6 p.m. ET, banking $60 million from previews, a new record.

Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson fight aliens in new 'Men in Black' trailer
 A new alien menace threatens earth in the newest trailer for Men in Black: International starring Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson.
The clip, released on Thursday, explores the origin of Agent M (Thompson) who discovered the existence of aliens and the secret Men in Black organization at a young age.
Thompson's character is quickly recruited and paired up with Agent H (Hemsworth) in London.The new partners embark on a dangerous mission to take down an alien group known as the Hive who can shape shift into humans.
Things get more complicated as Hive members start to infiltrate MIB by posing as agents.
"We are the men in black, the men and women in black," Agent H says before giving a thumbs up to Agent M during a comedic moment.
Men in Black: International, from director F. Gary Gray (The Fate of the Furious) is set to arrive in theaters on June 14. Liam Neeson, Emma Thompson, Rebecca Ferguson and Kumail Nanjiani also star.

Martin Scorsese's Bob Dylan documentary 'Rolling Thunder' to release in June
Netflix has announced that Martin Scorsese's Bob Dylan documentary, titled Rolling Thunder, will be arriving onto the streaming service on June 12.
The project, described as part documentary and part concert film, will explore Dylan's Rolling Thunder Revue tour from 1975 to 1976.
"Martin Scorsese's Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story captures the troubled spirit of America in 1975 & and the joyous music that Dylan performed that fall," Netflix said on Twitter Thursday alongside a poster for the film.
Rolling Thunder will also be released in theaters in Los Angeles and New York before Netflix screens the film during special-one-night-only events across 20 different cities around the globe on June 11.
The locations include London Paris, Sydney, London, Washington, D.C., Bologna, Minneapolis, San Francisco, Boston, Nashville, Philadelphia, Austin, Dallas, Houston, Tulsa, Portland, Chicago, Tempe and Cleveland.
Scorsese previously released another Dylan documentary in 2005 titled No Direction Home.

'Wahlburgers' to return for 10th and final season
Wahlburgers will return for a 10th and final season in May.
A&E announced in a press release Thursday the reality series, which follows Mark Wahlberg and his family's restaurant chain, will premiere its final season May 15.
Mark and his brothers, Donnie Wahlberg and Paul Wahlberg, launched Wahlburgers with a single location in Hingham, Mass., in 2011. The siblings now have over 30 locations across the country.
"Creating the Wahlbergers restaurants has been an incredible experience and we are so grateful to have shared it with A&E viewers these last nine seasons," Mark said in a statement.
"It's been an amazing journey that has brought us closer as a family and launched our little business to heights we never could've imagined," Donnie added.
Season 10 will celebrate Wahlburgers' success. The season shows Mark, Donnie and Paul balance work and family as they work to open restaurants at U.S. military bases across the globe.
"We're so appreciative to the Wahlberg family for opening up their hearts and lives to the A&E viewers over the years," A&E Network EVP and head of programming Elaine Frontain Bryant said. "We are so excited for the fans to see what the brothers have been cooking up for the final season."
Wahlburgers premiered on A&E in January 2014. Donnie will also star in a 10th season of the CBS series Blue Bloods and embark May 2 on the Mixtape tour with New Kids on the Block and Salt-N-Pepa.

Which legendary musician and artist's estate has announced the release date for 'Originals' albums?
Prince's estate and Warner Bros. Records have announced a new posthumous album from the music icon titled Originals.
The project will feature 14 unreleased demos of songs that Prince crafted for other artists such as Sheila E.'s "The Glamorous Life," The Bangles' "Manic Monday" and The Time's "Jungle Love."
Troy Carter, on behalf of the Prince estate, and Jay-Z selected which tracks to include on the album. Jay-Z's music streaming service Tidal will be the exclusive home of Originals for two weeks starting on June 7 before it is released on other platforms and on CD on June 21.
A limited edition two CD and two LP version will be released on July 19.
Tidal released on Instagram Thursday the cover for Originals along with the track listing. Prince's version of Sinead O' Connor's "Nothing Compares 2 U" will also be featured on the album, after it was released as a standalone single in April 2018.
