Luke 24:44

These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

Sale 99centRemember that in John 19:30, Jesus said, "It is finished!" And in Matthew 27:51, after He yielded up His spirit, "Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, and the graves were opened." Jesus was the perfect lamb. We are no longer separated from God, but have direct access to Him through the shed blood of our Lord and Savior. Jesus is the perfect sacrifice. The requirements of the Law are fulfilled through Him. The veil is torn in two!

TODAY'S NOT SO TRIVIAL TRIVIA QUESTION:

Q. After the first criminal blasphemed Jesus, the other rebuked him, saying, "Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong." He than asked something of Jesus. What was that request?

Answer below.

TODAY'S BIT OF WISDOM/REFLECTION:

The message of Easter cannot be written in the past tense. It is a message for today and the days to come. It is God's message that must re-echo through your lives.

FEATURED FUNNY:

During the "rush hour" at Houston Airport, a flight was delayed due to a mechanical problem. Since they needed the gate for another flight, the aircraft was backed away from the gate while the maintenance crew worked on it. The passengers were then told the new gate number, which was some distance away. Everyone moved to the new gate, only to find a third gate had been designated for them.

After some further shuffling, everyone got on board, and as they were settling in, the flight attendant made the standard announcement, "We apologize for the inconvenience of this last-minute gate change. This flight is going to Washington, D.C. If your destination is not Washington, D.C. you should 'deplane' at this time."

A very confused-looking and red-faced pilot emerged from the cockpit, carrying his bags. "Sorry," he said, wrong plane."

Luke 23:40-42

But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, "Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong." Then he said to Jesus, "Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom."
