Good Morning,

Insect bites and stings are not to be ignored. It's important to take care of those bites and stings before they become problematic.

No one enjoys being stung or bitten by insects. We all know that it is going to happen, especially as summer weather brings them back out.

Dealing with insect nibbles and noshes requires proper knowledge on what to do in the situation! And there are ways to be preventative and defend yourself, too.

That's where the No-Bite-Me Cream comes in!

No-Bite-Me Cream is your Before and After bite treatment cream. This deet-free, safe for all cream blends 16 essential oils including Cedar, Mint, Lemongrass, and Geranium oils, makes for a scent that you will love but pesky bugs will hate.

Available in a 2 oz. jar, the No-Bite-Me Cream is a summer essential that keeps black flies, mosquitoes, ticks, ants, sand-fleas, fleas, and spiders from ruining your outdoor fun! And, if you forgot to put on the cream and bugs are biting, it also works as an "after-bite" cream that'll rid you of the itching and swelling.

Click here to order the No-Bite-Me Cream and keep the bugs at bay!

I hope the bugs leave you be this summer...and if not, we're always here to help.

Regards,
Steve

*-- Tips for Healthy Living --*

When bit or stung by an insect make sure to:

Move away from the insect. Bees especially will alert others to their situation, drawing more to you!

Remain calm and quiet.

If you have been "stung", remove the stinger or spines (in a case of caterpillars) as quick as possible.

Lower the limb with the sting or bite. It will slow the venom from spreading. Later you can elevate it if you need to for the swelling.

To prevent infection make sure to:

Wash the area with soap and water.

Wipe the area clean with rubbing alcohol or first-aid antiseptic.

Trim nails to prevent scratching.

Do not break blisters.

Apply antibiotic ointment and cover it with adhesive bandages. Stop using it if the skin under bandages begins to itch or a rash develops.

To help with pain, itching, and swelling you should:

Take antihistamine orally.

Elevate the limb to reduce swelling.

Apply an ice pack for 15-20 minutes per hour.

Apply hydrocortisone 1% cream or calamine lotion to help with the itching.

With any bite or sting, always watch for fevers, new symptoms, skin infections, or flu-like symptoms. That is always the cue to go to the doctor!
