Here's the Scoop...

Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) comes face to face with Thor (Chris Hemsworth) in the latest trailer for Avengers: Endgame.

The clip, released on Thursday, begins by looking back at the backstories of Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Captain America (Chris Evans).

Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) also appears as he reunites with Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) following the aftermath of Thanos' (Josh Brolin) destructive finger snap from Avengers: Infinity War.

Hawkeye is featured training his daughter how to use a bow and arrow.

Captain Marvel, who was recently introduced in her own self-titled film, meets with Thor at the end of the trailer. "I like this one," Thor says as Captain Marvel does not flinch while the God of Thunder summons his hammer.

Other key moments include a team consisting of Captain America, Hawkeye, Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), Nebula (Karen Gillan), War Machine (Don Cheadle), Iron Man and Black Widow donning new white and red suits as they head off on a mission together; and Rocket (voiced by Bradley Cooper) loading up a gun while sitting on top of War Machine.

Avengers: Endgame, from directors Anthony and Joe Russo, is set to arrive in theaters on April 26.

The Captain Marvel film was the No. 1 movie in North America, earning $153 million at the box office.

Lori Loughlin, daughter lose jobs amid college scandal

Hallmark Channel on Thursday severed ties with Lori Loughlin, who's appeared in nearly 20 projects on the network, over her arrest related to a college admissions scandal.

The channel's parent company, Crown Media, fired her one day after her arrest and release on $1 million bond in a federal court on Los Angeles.

"We are saddened by the recent news surrounding the college admissions allegations," the company said. "We are no longer working with Lori Loughlin and have stopped development of all productions that air on the Crown Media Family Network channels involving Lori Loughlin including Garage Sale Mysteries, an independent third party production."

Loughlin was filming one production for Hallmark Channel this week in Vancouver when the so-called Varsity Blues sting was first announced.

She's appeared in the Garage Sale Mystery and When Calls the Heart series on the network as well as a number of Christmas movies, including Homegrown Christmas, Every Christmas Has a Story and Northpole: Open for Christmas.

The Justice Department named more than 50 people, including fellow actor Felicity Huffman, in a scheme in which wealthy parents paid thousands of dollars in bribes to secure their children's admission to a number of U.S. colleges, including Yale, Georgetown, Stanford and UCLA. The payments went toward securing undeserved athletic scholarships or high test scores, prosecutors said.

Laughlin's daughter, influencer Olivia Jade Giannulli, also received news Thursday that Sephora ended its relationship with her. The YouTube star, a freshman at USC, endorsed a bronzing palette with the beauty retailers.

"After careful review of recent developments, we have made the decision to end the Sephora Collection partnership with Olivia Jade, effective immediately," Sephora said.

HP also cut ties with Giannulli and Loughlin, who promoted the technology company's Sprocket photo printer.

"HP worked with Lori Loughlin and Olivia Jade in 2017 for a one-time product campaign. HP has removed the content from its properties," HP said.

Ben Affleck defends back tattoo: 'I'm very happy with it'

Ben Affleck says he's personally "very happy" with his back tattoo.

The 46-year-old actor addressed criticism of his large phoenix tattoo while promoting his movie Triple Frontier during Thursday's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Photographers had captured pictures of Affleck's tattoo in March 2018 as the star filmed Triple Frontier in Hawaii. The photos went viral online, with many criticizing Affleck's choice of ink.

"It's meaningful to me. I like it," the star said of his tattoo.

"It's something that I sort of kept private. It wasn't like I was sort of doing photo shoots or whatever," he said of the pictures. "We were two hours north of the city on some island in Hawaii, and we didn't know the paparazzi was there."

Affleck acknowledged public opinion but said he remains fond of his tattoo.

"The sentiment ran, you know, against," he said. "I love my tattoo. I'm happy with it."

Affleck also gave an update on his health following his stint in rehab in the fall for alcohol abuse. He said he's in "a great place" and focused on his kids, son Samuel and daughters Violet and Seraphina, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.

"I feel so good now. I'm in such a great place. My kids are healthy. You know, life is good. And so whatever it took for me to get to this place, you know, I'm grateful," the star said.

Triple Frontier debuted Wednesday on Netflix. The movie co-stars Oscar Isaac, Charlie Hunnam, Garrett Hedlund and Pedro Pascal.

Netflix cancels 'One Day at a Time' after three seasons

Netflix announced Thursday it has canceled its sitcom One Day at a Time after three seasons.

Starring Rita Moreno, Justina Machado, Isabella Gomez, Marcel Ruiz, Todd Grinnell, Sheridan Pierce and Stephen Tobolowsky, the sitcom is about members of the Cuban-American Alvaraz family, who live and work in California. It is a remake of writer-producer Norman Lear's same-titled series from the 1970s and '80s. Lear was also a producer on the new version.

"It's been a great honor to work with the legendary Norman Lear on One Day at a Time," Ted Sarandos, Netflix's chief content officer, said in a statement.

"I've personally spoken with Norman, and co-creators Gloria Calderón Kellett and Mike Royce, to express my gratitude to them, all the writers, the dedicated crew and the cast including the brilliant Justina Machado and dazzling Rita Moreno for creating a series with such humor, heart and humanity," Sarandos added.

"This was a very difficult decision and we're thankful to all the fans who've supported the series, our partners at Sony, and all the critics who embraced it. While it's disappointing that more viewers didn't discover One Day at a Time, I believe the series will stand the test of time."

Kellett last month took to Twitter to plead for more support for the show because it was in danger of being canceled.

'Sopranos' prequel film 'Newark' lands September 2020 release date

Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema's upcoming Sopranos prequel film titled Newark, has received a Sept. 25, 2020 release date.

The film's title has been changed to simply Newark after originally being labeled as The Many Saints of Newark.

Sopranos creator David Chase co-wrote the script alongside producer Lawrence Konner. Alan Taylor is set to direct with production to begin in the spring. The project will take place during the Newark riots in the 1960s which featured Italian Americans and African Americans clashing in the streets.

Alessandro Nivola is set to star as Dickey Moltisanti, a character that was never seen on The Sopranos but who was referenced throughout the show. Michael Gandolfini will be starring as a young Tony Soprano, the role his late father James Gandolfini played in the HBO series.

Moltisanti is Tony's uncle and the father of Christopher Moltisanti, who was portrayed by Michael Imperioli. Moltisanti was said to have helped build up the Soprano crime family that Tony eventually heads.

Ray Liotta, Jon Bernthal, Vera Farmiga, Corey Stoll and Billy Magnussen are also set to star.

Which TV personality recalls headbutting a promoter over money?

Sharon Osbourne says she once headbutted a promoter after he refused to pay her what was owed.

The 66-year-old British television personality shared the story on Wednesday's episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden while discussing her role as longtime manager to her husband, Ozzy Osbourne.

"Yes, because he wouldn't pay us the full money," Osbourne explained after host James Corden asked her about the incident.

"He was trying to say, 'Oh, we spent this on advertising' -- he didn't. The show sold out in one day and he had, like, a month's worth of advertising bills. I'm like, come on," she recalled. "He wouldn't give us that money, so I just stood up and headbutted him."

Osbourne has managed Ozzy, a singer and the frontman of the band Black Sabbath, since the 1970s. She was one of the few female talent managers when she got her start, leading her to adopt a particularly "crass" persona.

"I was kind of very mean and crass. I was really crass. You think I'm crass now?" the star said. "I would just go in there and be like ... 'Don't mess with me!'"

"I mean, really, it was a kind of protection," she explained. "It was a shield, because half the time i didn't know what I was doing. But I thought if you act a bit nuts, people will be wary of you."

Ozzy is recovering after being hospitalized in February for pneumonia. Osbourne and son Jack Osbourne said in an interview with Access last week Ozzy is "complaining a lot" and "back to his normal routine."
