I'm still in shock over the death of Luke Perry, and I know that I'm not the only one. Celebrities took to social media to mourn the death of 52-year-old actor Luke Perry.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 and Riverdale star had been hospitalized since he suffered a massive stroke last week.

His publicist said he was surrounded by his loved ones when he died Monday morning.

His friends and colleagues paid tribute to him on Twitter.

"Dearest Luke, I will forever bask in the loving memories we've shared over the last thirty years. May your journey forward be enriched by the magnificent souls who have passed before you, just like you have done here, for those you leave behind," said Perry's fellow former 90210 teen idol Ian Ziering.

"My heart is broken. I will miss you so much Luke Perry. Sending all my love to your family.," his Riverdale co-star Molly Ringwald tweeted.

"RIP Luke Perry. My heart hurts for your family," Oscar winner Viola Davis wrote.

"Luke Perry was a kindhearted and incredibly talented artist. It was an honor to be able to work with him. My thoughts and prayers go out to him and his loved ones," film star Leonardo DiCaprio posted.

"I abruptly woke at 4:30am thinking about you Luke & I couldn't go back to sleep, then 5 hours later I hear you are gone. The tears won't stop & they never ever will. You were that guy, that forever friend, we always had each others back & I will always remember you this way," said Kristy Swanson, who co-starred with him in the movie Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

"You made every situation better, my man. your elegance your wit your charm and your giant heart,

inspired and enchanted so many of us, on countless occasions, with brilliant aplomb. R.I.P good sir.

i am truly honored to have known you all of these years," said Charlie Sheen.

Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar shared on Instagram a photo of Perry and her friend Shannen Doherty, who played Perry's love interest on 90210.

"My entire high school experience was shaped by Brenda and Dylan. Now I have to hold my dear friend @theshando hand, while she mourns the loss of #lukeperry This is not how it's supposed to happen. I hope his family knows many lives he touched. "I chose. I chose you. I want you. I've always wanted you" - my favorite quote," Gellar wrote.

The most recent movie I saw Mr. Perry in was Jesse Stone: Lost in Paradise, starring Tom Selleck. He was really good in it. We lost another good one. Such a shame. Rest in Peace, Luke.

Brie Larson kept 'Captain Marvel' role secret for a year

Brie Larson says she kept her starring role in Captain Marvel secret for a year.

The 29-year-old actress said on Monday's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! she's been "so scared" of spoiling the Marvel movie since landing the film.

Larson, who plays Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, in Captain Marvel, said she got the part three years ago but wasn't allowed to tell anyone for a year.

"I'm just relieved I haven't spoiled it yet, honestly," she told host Jimmy Kimmel. "I've been so scared. I wasn't allowed to tell anybody that I was even playing Captain Marvel for a year."

Larson emphatically denied she told anyone, but said she did seek advice from her co-star Samuel L. Jackson.

"No! Are you kidding me? I was so scared," the star said.

"I told [Samuel], 'I'm so stressed, man. I can't deal with this anymore.' And he was like, 'What are they going to do? Fire you now, like right before the premiere? You're fine,'" she recounted. "I hate getting in trouble."

Larson said she had a great time filming with Jackson, who portrays Nick Fury in the Marvel cinematic universe. The pair also co-starred in the 2017 movie Kong: Skull Island.

"Our love is real," Larson said. "You can't fake that stuff."

Larson said she and Jackson often text and have even established their own code words.

"We've gotten into this because in the film there are skrulls. So, part of how you know if someone's a skrull is you ask the person a question, so we've been rolling pretty deep with that," the actress explained.

"They deal mostly with people that we hate," she said. "We're pretty stealthy about it."

Captain Marvel opens in theaters Friday. The movie is directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck and co-stars Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou and Lee Pace.

'Game of Thrones' stars 'fight for the living' in Season 8 trailer

Game of Thrones is giving fans a glimpse of its eighth and final season.

The HBO series released a trailer Tuesday featuring Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), Jamie Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner), Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) and other characters.

The promo begins with a bloody Arya running from unseen pursuers. The scene cuts to the character menacing someone while holding a dagger.

"I know death. He's got many faces. I look forward to seeing this one," she says.

Cersei is seen giving a smug smile at King's Landing with Gregor "The Mountain" Clegane (Hafþor Julius Bjornsson) and Qyburn (Anton Lesser) by her side. Her brother Jamie, whom she had a falling out with in the Season 7 finale, is shown fighting alongside Winterfell forces.

"I promised to fight for the living. I intend to keep that promise," Jamie says.

Dany and Jon, meanwhile, are seen with Dany's dragons Drogon and Rhaegal, who fly over an amazed Sansa. Jon prepares for the battle with the White Walkers, with one scene showing a sword being forged, which cuts to Gendry (Joe Dempsie).

Jon says, "They're coming. Our enemy doesn't tire. Doesn't stop. Doesn't feel."

The trailer culminates with a glimpse of the White Walkers, whom Jon and his forces will face in the great battle of Winterfell in Season 8. Co-executive producer Bryan Cogman recently told Entertainment Weekly the sequence is "unprecedented."

"This final face-off between the Army of the Dead and the army of the living is completely unprecedented and relentless and a mixture of genres even within the battle. There are sequences built within sequences within sequences," Cogman said. "It's been exhausting but I think it will blow everybody away."

Game of Thrones Season 8 premieres April 14 on HBO.

Pro wrestler King Kong Bundy dead at 61

Christopher Pallies, the professional wrestling icon and Married with Children guest star known as King Kong Bundy, has died at age 61.

"Bundy was appropriately called the 'walking condominium,' standing at an impressive 6-foot-4 and weighing 458 pounds," the WWE said on its website Tuesday. "The sight of Bundy stepping between the ropes was intimidating enough, but his crushing offense proved that he was every bit as destructive as advertised. In fact, Bundy was so dominant that he demanded referees count to five when he pinned his opponents to show that there was no way they were getting up."

The New York Post said Bundy made his World Wrestling Federation debut in 1981 and defeated S.D. Jones in the first WrestleMania in 1985. He was semi-retired by the late 1980s, but returned in 1994 for a series of Million Dollar Corporation matches and other exhibition appearances.

Throughout his career he wrestled Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and The Undertaker, ESPN said.

A post on Bundy's Twitter account Monday said he was scheduled to appear at next month's WrestleCon in New York City.

David Herro, an event promoter and close Bundy friend, tweeted later in the day: "Today we lost a Legend of a performer and someone that I considered family. @RealKKBundy Rest In Peace my friend. Thank you for believing in me. #KingKongBundy."

Hogan also took to Twitter to express his sorrow over Bundy's death.

"Overwhelmed by King Kong Bundy's passing, only great memories,R.I.P. big man until we meet again. HH," Hogan wrote.

Matthew Lillard on being replaced as Shaggy: 'Well, this sucks'

Matthew Lillard, who has played Shaggy in the Scooby-Doo franchise for nearly two decades, said he was disappointed to read reports stating he had been replaced by Will Forte.

"Well this sucks. What a crappy way to find out.... thanks Hollywood," Lillard tweeted, along with a link to another user's post about the casting change.

Lillard played the role of Shaggy in the live-action movies Scooby-Doo and Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, which were released in theaters in 2002 and 2004 respectively. He also lent his voice to the role of the good-hearted slacker in more than a dozen straight-to-video cartoons, including Scooby-Doo! and The Curse of The 13th Ghost, which was released on DVD and digital last month.

The Hollywood Reporter said the next Scooby-Doo mystery adventure will be an animated movie featuring the voices of Forte as Shaggy, Gina Rodriguez as Velma and longtime Scooby-Doo portrayer Frank Welker as the always hungry canine detective.

Tracey Morgan is also reportedly on-board as the Hanna-Barbera cartoon character Captain Caveman.

Tony Cervone is directing the feature, will be the first Scooby-Doo theatrical release since Monsters Unleashed. The two most recent live-action movies co-starred Linda Cardellini as Velma, Sarah Michelle Gellar as Daphne and Freddie Prinze Jr. as Fred.

Lillard, 49, can now be seen in the NBC dramedy Good Girls.

Which actor will play Venus and Serena Williams' dad in a new film?

Will Smith will play Venus and Serena Williams' dad, Richard Williams, in a new film.

Variety confirmed Monday the 50-year-old actor will portray Richard, Venus and Serena's father and former tennis coach, in the movie King Richard.

King Richard will recount how Richard overcame hardship, skepticism, controversy and his own troubled past to teach Venus and Serena to play tennis, despite not having a background in the sport.

Deadline said Richard drew up a 78-page plan for Venus and Serena's professional tennis careers when the pair were about 4 years old. He started giving his daughters tennis lessons at public courts in Compton, Calif.

Serena and Venus' careers took off after Serena won the U.S. Open in 1999 and Venus won Wimbledon the next year. Serena has won 23 individual Grand Slam tournaments, while Venus has seven individual Grand Slam titles.

King Richard is based on a script from Zach Baylin. Smith will produce with Tim White and Trevor White, with Allan Mandelbaum and Caleeb Pinkett as executive producers.

Smith will next star in the Disney live-action remake of Aladdin. Reports said last week the actor will not reprise Deadshot in the Suicide Squad sequel or other future DC films.
