Ozzy Osbourne cancels tour dates due to pneumonia

Ozzy Osbourne is canceling more tour dates due to illness.

The 70-year-old British singer canceled shows in Australia, New Zealand and Japan on Monday after coming down with pneumonia.

Osbourne confirmed the news on his official Twitter account. The post featured an update from his wife, television personality Sharon Osbourne.

"Ozzy has announced the cancelation of shows in Australia, New Zealand & Japan," the tweet reads.

"'Ozzy recently developed pneumonia & has spend some time in hospital. He is through the worst part,' says @SharonOsbourne. 'His doctors have advised that he stay at home to recuperate for full 6 weeks.'"

Osbourne was hospitalized this month after experiencing complications from the flu. Sharon said on The Talk last week that the singer was out of the intensive care unit.

"He's doing great," she said. "He's out of ICU and doing good. He's breathing on his own."

Osbourne's hospitalization happened a little over a week after he postponed the U.K. and European leg of No More Tours II due to illness. He initially delayed the first four dates because of the flu and was subsequently diagnosed with an upper-respiratory infection.

Daniel Radcliffe says he used alcohol to cope with 'Harry Potter' fame

Daniel Radcliffe says he used alcohol to cope with the self-consciousness he felt during his Harry Potter fame.

The 29-year-old British actor said on Tuesday's episode of Off Camera with Sam Jones that he used to get "very drunk" as a teen as a way of handling the public scrutiny.

"There is an awareness that I really struggled with, particularly in my late teens, when I was going out to places for the first time where you would feel -- again, it could have largely been in my head, but -- you would feel watched when you went into a bar, when you went into a pub," Radcliffe recalled.

"Then, in my case, the quickest way of forgetting about the fact that you were being watched was to get very drunk and then as you get very drunk, you become aware that, oh, people are watching more now because now I'm getting very drunk, so I should probably drink more to ignore that more," he said.

Radcliffe played the title character in all eight Harry Potter films. He said he can empathize with other young stars, such as singer Justin Bieber, when they appear to act out.

"There is no blueprint for starting young and working stuff out," the star said. "That's why, like, whenever people, like, have a go at Justin Bieber drag racing cars, whatever, I'm always like, 'Yeah, but you know. I don't know. Stuff could be super crazy for him right now.'"

"You don't quite know how overwhelmed it's possible to get," he explained. "Part of the thing is the expectation that you just be delighted all the time. You have a great job, you're wealthy. You don't have a right to ever feel sad or to not be excited about the whole thing all the time."

Radcliffe was 12 years old when the first Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, opened in theaters. He told IGN this month he wouldn't be surprised if the franchise reboots with a new set of young actors.

"I'm sure there will be come other version of it; I know I'm not the last Harry Potter I'm gonna see in my lifetime," the actor said.

"It will be interesting to see how long those films stay... it feels like there's a sacredness around them at the moment, but that'll go, the shine will wear off at some point," he added. "It'll be interesting if they reboot them and just do the films again or do a series; I'm fascinated to watch."

Radcliffe stars in the new TBS series Miracle Workers and will also star in the upcoming movie Guns Akimbo.

Karl Lagerfeld, fashion icon dead at 85

Fashion industry icon and Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld has died at the age of 85.

French media first reported the news that Lagerfeld died on Tuesday.

Chanel confirmed Lagerfeld's death in Paris. A cause of death was not disclosed. Lagerfeld missed a Chanel haute couture show in Paris in January, igniting rumors about his health.

Lagerfeld, also known as The Kaiser due to his German heritage, had a signature look that consisted of black leather gloves, dark glasses, black jeans and a ponytail.

He joined Chanel in 1983 and stayed on as the creative director for the rest of his life. Lagerfeld was also the creative director of Fendi and founded his own fashion line.

"Karl your genius touched the lives of so many, especially Gianni and I. We will never forget your incredible talent and endless inspiration. We were always learning from you," Versace head Donatella Versace said on Instagram Tuesday alongside a photo of herself with Lagerfeld.

'The Newsroom': Aaron Sorkin shuts down reboot rumors

The Newsroom creator Aaron Sorkin is shutting down rumors of a reboot.

The 57-year-old screenwriter, director and producer said on Monday's episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden that he has "no plans" to revive the HBO series.

Host James Corden asked Sorkin about the possibility during a joint interview with actor Mahershala Ali. His questioning led to applause from the audience.

"I hate saying this after that wonderful round of applause -- no," Sorkin answered.

"I wish the show was on the air now, I would love to be writing it now. But there are other things coming up," he explained. "I have no plans to return to anything else I have done."

The Newsroom starred Jeff Daniels, Emily Mortimer, John Gallagher, Jr., Alison Pill, Thomas Sadoski, Dev Patel, Olivia Munn and Sam Waterston, and had a three-season run from 2012 to 2014. Munn, who played Sloan Sabbith on the show, said last week she had spoken to Sorkin about a reboot.

"Tom Sadoski and myself, we've actually been having conversations with Sorkin about that," the actress told Entertainment Tonight. "He's very busy, but we have very high hopes that it would be able to come together, hopefully."

Sorkin is also known for creating the NBC series The West Wing. He is executive producing a TV version of his Broadway play A Few Good Men, which was previously adapted as a 1992 film.

Which 'Pitch Perfect' star just got engaged?

Pitch Perfect star Brittany Snow is engaged to be married.

The 32-year-old actress took to Instagram Tuesday after saying "yes" to boyfriend Tyler Stanaland earlier this month.

Snow shared a photo of herself smiling and embracing Stanaland in a restaurant. Her engagement ring can faintly be seen on her left hand.

"A couple weeks ago, I said 'YES' about a million times to the man of my wildest & most beautiful dreams," Snow captioned the post. "After celebrating with friends and family, we wanted to let a few more friends (you guys) know... this happened."

"I'm still pinching myself and thanking my lucky stars for the truest feeling I've ever felt. Thank you @tylerstanaland for the happiest day of my life & for not proposing in this creepy empty restaurant," she said.

Stanaland, a realtor and former professional surfer, shared a slideshow of pictures on his own account. The post included a close-up look at Snow's ring.

"A few weeks ago, I asked @brittanysnow one of the most important questions I may ever ask. Forever? Luckily she said yes and we've spent the last little while celebrating the old fashioned way, together and with close friends and family," Stanaland wrote.

"I don't know how I got so lucky and I don't know that I really understood what love is until you. Everything changed when we met," he gushed. "You are the most beautiful, intelligent, thoughtful, caring, incredible human and I couldn't be more excited to do life with you."

Snow and Stanaland made their relationship Instagram official in August when the actress posted a photo of their feet on a date. Snow previously dated actor Tyler Hoechlin and filmmaker Andrew Jenks.

Snow is known for playing Chloe Beale in the Pitch Perfect movies. She also appeared in the TV series Guiding Light, American Dreams, Nip/Tuck and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.
