Lady Gaga, Christian Carino call off engagement

Lady Gaga and talent agent Christian Carino called off their engagement, the singer's representative confirmed Tuesday.

The "Bad Romance" singer's representative told E! News and People the two split about four months after she went public with their engagement during a speech at the Elle Women in Hollywood event.

"It just didn't work out. Relationships sometimes end," a source told People. "There's no long dramatic story."

Rumors of the relationship's demise were fueled Feb. 10 when Lady Gaga, born Stefani Germanotta, attended the Grammy Awards without Carino and without wearing her engagement ring.

Lady Gaga was first linked to Carino in February 2017 after ending her engagement to actor Taylor Kinney.

Lady Gaga won three Grammy Awards on Sunday, picking up Best Pop Solo Performance for "Joanne (Where Do You Think You're Goin?)" and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Song Written for Visual Media for "Shallow." She performed "Shallow" onstage minus Bradley Cooper, who starred with Gaga in A Star is Born. The two are expected to sing together Sunday at the Academy Awards.

'Joan & Jackie' miniseries to tell story of Collins sisters

Fable Pictures announced plans for a six-part television series to tell the real-life story of famed sisters Joan and Jackie Collins.

The Sony-backed production company, which produced recent biopic Stan & Ollie, said the script for Joan & Jackie is being penned by Penelope Skinner, a veteran playwright and TV scribe whose credits include stage show The Village Bike and E4 series Fresh Meat.

Casting director Nina Gold (Game of Thrones, The Crown) is attached to cast the drama series, which will follow the lives of actress Joan Collins and her sister, writer Jackie Collins.

The series, which is being executive produced by Faye Ward, Caroline Harvey and Hannah Farrell, does not yet have a broadcaster attached.

Joan Collins rose to prominence with a string of Hollywood credits in the 1950s, but is best known for her starring role on 1980s drama Dynasty. Her recent credits include appearances on American Horror Story.

Jackie Collins wrote 32 bestselling novels, including The World Is Full Of Married Men and Hollywood Wives. Two of her novels were adapted into films starring her sister.

Jackie Collins died of breast cancer in 2015.

"I am delighted that such a prestigious team wants to tell our story, and I know my sister Jackie would be as excited as I am to be involved," Joan Collins said.

Mandy Moore on Ryan Adams marriage: 'I felt like I was drowning'

Mandy Moore felt like she was "drowning" during her marriage to Ryan Adams.

The 34-year-old singer discussed her "unhealthy" dynamic with Adams during Monday's episode of the WTF with Marc Maron podcast.

Pitchfork said Moore recorded the interview prior to the publication of a New York Times article where she said Adams was emotionally abusive during their relationship. Moore instead described her co-dependent dynamic with the singer.

"I was living my life for him," the star told host Marc Maron. "Being the mother. It's an entirely unhealthy dynamic. I had no sense of self. I was imperceptible, I was so small in my own world."

"It made me feel worthy," she explained. "It made me feel like I had value, if I could be there for somebody else and serve their needs."

The This is Us star said she strove to create a happy family of her own with Adams following her parents' separation. Her co-dependency with the singer contributed to a breakdown in their marriage.

"I think my co-dependency fed into his co-dependency and some other issues, underlying issues, that it was just, like, the perfect cacophony of madness," Moore said.

"I felt like I was drowning. It was so untenable and unsustainable. I was so lonely. I was so sad. I was lonely with him," she added. "I knew that this wasn't the rest of my life. I knew that this wasn't the person I was supposed to be with, I knew that I wasn't the person I was meant to be."

Moore and Adams split in January 2015 after nearly six years of marriage. Moore shared a message of solidarity Feb. 13 on Instagram after calling out Adams for emotional abuse in the New York Times article.

"Speaking your truth can be painful and triggering but it's always worth it," she wrote. "My heart is with all women who have suffered any sort of trauma or abuse. You are seen and heard. #sisterhoodforever."

Jake Gyllenhaal praised his Spider-Man: Far From Home co-star Tom Holland during an apperance on The Tonight Show, stating that the actor does an amazing job as the Marvel superhero.

"He's awesome. He's the nicest guy in the world," Gyllenhaal said to host Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday "I'm super into him as Spider-Man," Gyllenhaal continued. "He's just amazing. He just is."

Gyllenhaal is set to star as classic Spider-Man foe Mysterio in Far From Home, which is set to arrive in theaters on July 5.
