I wouldn't watch the Grammys if you paid me, but I might tune in for this... Country music star Dolly Parton is returning to the Grammys stage.

The 73-year-old singer will perform with Katy Perry, Little Big Town, Maren Morris and Kacey Musgraves during a special tribute to her Sunday at the 61st annual Grammy Awards.

The Recording Academy said Tuesday that Parton will perform new music from her album Dumplin', the soundtrack for the Netflix film of the same name. She will also join Perry and the others for a tribute featuring her classic songs.

Parton confirmed the news in a tweet Tuesday.

"I'm returning to the #GRAMMYs stage, y'all! I'll be performing one of the songs from #Dumplin' & we're cookin' up something special with me, @littlebigtown @MarenMorris @KaceyMusgraves and @katyperry!! Make sure to tune in," she wrote.

Parton is an eight-time Grammy winner who last performed at the awards show in 2001. Little Big Town, Musgraves and Morris are each nominated for awards at this year's ceremony.

In addition, Parton will be honored Friday at the 2019 MusiCares Person of the Year ceremony. Pink, Shawn Mendes, Chris Stapleton and more stars will pay tribute to the singer with performances at the event.

"Dolly Parton has always been and continues to be a courageous trailblazer and indomitable inspiration for creators and artists -- so for us to have the opportunity to honor her at our annual MusiCares Person of the Year gala is to pay tribute to a true pillar of strength and someone who we all look up to and cherish," Recording Academy and MusiCares president Neil Portnow said in September.

Be Well,
Steve

Jennifer Lawrence engaged to boyfriend Cooke Maroney

Jennifer Lawrence is engaged to her boyfriend Cooke Maroney after less than one year of dating.

A representative for Lawrence confirmed to People magazine that the actress is engaged.

Us Weekly also confirmed the news.

Lawrence sparked engagement rumors on Tuesday after she was spotted wearing a diamond ring while out with Maroney in New York City.

Lawrence, 28, and Marony, a 33-year-old art dealer, were first linked together in June. She was previously dating filmmaker Darren Aronofsky with the pair calling it quits in November 2017 after a year of dating.

Lawrence will next be seen reprising her role as Mystique in upcoming X-Men sequel Dark Phoenix, set to arrive in theaters on June 7.

ABC renews 'Modern Family' for 11th and final season

ABC announced Tuesday that it has renewed Modern Family for an 11th and final season.

President of ABC Entertainment Karey Burke made the announcement at the Television Critics Association on Tuesday, saying the single-camera domestic comedy created by Steve Levitan and Christopher Lloyd would come to an end, Variety reported.

"Chris and Steve have created one of the most seminal and iconic comedies in television history," said Burke. "In its final season, there will be more milestone events that anyone who has been a fan of the series won't want to miss."

Lloyd joked about the contrast between his role heading the long-running series and the lives of its characters.

"For 10 years, our characters have bravely faced turning points in life and moved through them to great personal enrichment; we have chosen a different path by doing one more season of Modern Family," he said.

Levitan also made light of the series end after a decade on air.

"Even after 10 years together, we realized there are still some things our writers don't yet know about each other's sex lives," he said.

Modern Family premiered in 2009 and served as an anchor for ABC's primetime lineup as it racked up five consecutive Emmy Awards for best comedy series from 2010 to 2014 and numerous awards for its many stars.

Burke said she would "would love" if the series set up for a spinoff in its final season, but added there are "no concrete plans" for such a project at the moment, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

No episode count has been announced for Modern Family's final season, but had Levitan previously told THR he expected it would receive 20 or more episodes.

"I thought season 10 was going to be it. I think everyone has said season 11 is it. If we were to do it, season 11 would be it, for sure. And I'm not sure it would be a full season. We're all trying to figure that out," he said.

LOOSE LIPS:

"No longer numbing myself with smoking, drinking and too much work, I was becoming more and more aware of things that I'd chosen not to look at. Was I alone in wanting to do some serious soul-searching while he stayed the same? In the end, unfortunately, the answer was yes."

'Scrubs' alum Sam Lloyd diagnosed with cancer after son's birth

Former Scrubs star Sam Lloyd has been diagnosed with cancer.

Scrubs executive producer Tim Hobert created a GoFundMe page for Lloyd on Monday after the 55-year-old actor learned he has an inoperable brain tumor and lung cancer.

Lloyd was diagnosed in mid-January after experiencing headaches and weight loss. Doctors were unable to move the tumor during a surgery Jan. 18, and discovered the cancer had metastasized in the star's lungs and spread to his liver, spine and jaw.

Lloyd, who played Ted Buckland on Scrubs, had welcomed his first child, a son, with wife Vanessa Lloyd just weeks before his diagnosis.

"Sam is, simply put, a sweet, kind, and generous soul," Hobert said on the page. "Through his music and acting, and most of all his friendship, he has blessed all of our lives immeasurably."

Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence and star Zach Braff reacted to the news Tuesday on Twitter.

"This is Sam. He was Ted on SCRUBS. He's a pal. Just had his first baby. Get involved if you can. I am," Lawrence urged fans.

"Tragic news from our beloved Sam (aka, Ted the Lawyer). I will of course be getting involved. Please send him your love," Braff, who portrayed J.D., tweeted.

The GoFundMe page had raised over $80,000 of a $100,000 goal as of Wednesday morning.

'Hair Live!': NBC cancels musical TV special

BS 2018Hair Live! will no longer air on NBC in the spring.

Deadline confirmed the network pulled the plug on its TV adaptation of the 1967 musical, which was to debut May 19.

NBC has no plans to reschedule Hair Live!, and is exploring new options for its next live TV musical.

"Live musicals are a part of this network's DNA and we committed to continuing that tradition with the right show at the right time," NBC Entertainment co-chairmen Paul Telegdy and George Cheeks said in a statement.

"Since these shows are enormous undertakings, we need titles that have a wide appeal and we're in the process of acquiring the rights to a couple new shows that we're really excited about," the pair added.

The Hollywood Reporter said NBC started to reconsider Hair after the American Idol and Game of Thrones finales landed on the same date. Sources said the network also questioned if the musical, which explores topics such as the Vietnam War, was the best title for family viewing.

Pitch Perfect actress Hailee Steinfeld was reportedly in talks to star in Hair. Sources said NBC was in the midst of making offers to talent when it decided to scrap the TV musical.

Hair debuted Off-Broadway in 1967 before opening on Broadway and the West End the next year. A new production debuted Off-West End in 2017 in honor of the musical's 50th anniversary.

NBC has previously aired live musical adaptations of The Sound of Music, Peter Pan, The Wiz and Hairspray. Hair debuted Off-Broadway in 1967 before opening on Broadway and the West End the next year.

Which model and TV personality will open a Modelland theme park in California?

Tyra Banks will open the new theme park Modelland this year in California.

The 45-year-old model and television personality announced plans for the new attraction in Santa Monica in a press release Tuesday.

Modelland will be located in a multi-level, 21,000 sq. ft. space at Macerich's Santa Monica Place. The theme park is slated to open in late 2019.

"Modelland has been 10 intense years in the making," Banks said in a statement. "It has been my ultimate dream and I have worked tirelessly with laser-focused tunnel vision to bring it to fruition."

Modelland is an entertainment, retail and dining destination that aims "to bring modeling to the masses and expand the definition of beauty." The experience invites visitors to redefine what a model is and become the dream versions of themselves.

"Modelland will awaken your childlike glee by entertaining and educating in unexpected ways that will make learning about oneself fierce and fun," Banks said.

"I want people to feel seen and validated," she added. "Modelland will provide the tools for them to do so and empower them to embrace, adorn and celebrate their own unique beauty."

Banks further discussed Modelland in an interview with Variety, but kept the specific activities under wraps.

"Modelland is going to be a place where the modeling world meets fantasy, meets entertainment, meets technology, meets retail, meets dining, meets ... your fiercest best self you could ever imagine," the star said.

"You have to go there, you have to be part of it and you have to interact and focus on yourself. It's all about you," she added. "All types of beauty -- men and women, young and older -- are invited to transform into the dream version of themselves. When people leave Modelland, we want them to feel overjoyed and empowered."

Banks promoted Modelland in an Instagram post Tuesday.

"My dream for you will soon be a reality. #ModelLand. A place where everyone can be a model. A place where all beauty is celebrated. I can't wait for you to Step Into Your Light," she wrote.

Banks is known for her modeling work with Victoria's Secret and Sports Illustrated. She is the creator and host of the reality competition America's Next Top Model, which completed a 24th season in April.
