Greetings Infomaniacs,

NEW BestSellersWell folks, we had a good run, but after more than 12 years we are putting Trivia Today to bed.

In Internet time, 12 years is ancient. Trivia Today may well have been the longest running trivia email publication in the Internet's history. And we had some fun along the way.

Trivia Today has had several editors during its publication history. Does anyone still on the list remember Melissa? She was one of GopherCentral.com's in-house editors and she managed Trivia Today for years.

Eventually she got a degree in library science and moved on to become a full-time Services Librarian.

Trivia bounced around between a few editors after Melissa until it finally came to me. For those of you who never bothered to click on the 'email the editor' link, I'm Joe. Over the years I have worked on dozens of GopherCentral email publications, the oldest one still in publication being Clean Laffs.

Like I said, it's been fun. I would like to thank everyone who has been a faithful reader, but I am not going to leave you completely out in the cold. After today you will receive our other trivia publication Random Facts. Random Facts is more streamlined than Trivia Today, there are no quotes, and I'm sorry to say, no Weekly Mind-Scrambler, but you will still get your dose of fascinating trivia and 'factoids' twice a week.

So thanks for reading and being a part of the GopherCentral.com family, and I will talk to you in the next issue of Random Facts!

Enjoy!
