*-- What is With All of These Headaches? --*

You've got the wrong kind of pillow: Having the wrong pillow will put yourself into an uncomfortable posture all night. If you're not fully comfortable, you are exposing yourself to toss and turn all night and the lack of sleep can cause a pounding head. You want to look for a pillow that keeps your neck in line with the rest of your body as if you are standing up.

If you aren't sure of what kind of pillows to get, bamboo memory foam pillows are phenomenal in supporting a well rested sleep and since they can be sculpted, they're great for insomnia or migraines. Here is my personal favorite Bamboo Luxury Queen Sized Pillow for just $19.99 here.

You skipped your morning coffee: Your body gets used to caffeine so if you're someone who has their coffee every morning and then skips it, you might wind up with a throbbing head. Don't have access to coffee? Don't worry about it. Green or black tea along with dark chocolate can help kick that headache.

You tense your neck and your shoulders: Do you work at a computer all day or hold your hold up to your ear with your shoulder? These are two easy ways to give yourself a tension headache. A hot shower or a heating pad can help alleviate that pain.

Your vision is blurry: You may get a headache when you try to focus on something near your face. If you're farsighted, things look fuzzy as you get closer to them. It could be because your eyeball is too short or the clear covering on your eye, called the cornea, is too flat. You might be born with it, but it starts to happen to most people after age 40. This may be happening to you and you may not even realize it. Check with your eye doctor if you have suspicion that your eyes are the reason for your headaches.

Your sinuses are swollen: When you have a simple, common cold, that is enough to inflame the areas behind your forehead and cheekbones. It might be hard to breathe because mucus, which can get thick and yellow or green, doesn't drain properly. Over-the-counter drugs can often help you manage it.
